How much trimming did you do for the charge pipe?
Having done a bunch of HKS ones, its a very slight trim on the corner of the brackets for the charge pipes due to the angle and size of the endtank. 30 seconds with a cutoff wheel, a file or flap disk to remove burrs, and a bit of black spray paint to prevent flash rust and you're good to go.

Yeah, directions only state the right side, so thats all I did. No issues yet to the left side.

After a lot of contemplating, researching, and procrastinating, I finally decided to address the FL5’s security vulnerabilities. I’ve seen and read about way too many of these cars getting stolen to keep ignoring it. One of the common motifs in a lot of theft stories is the owner saying they were thinking about anti-theft measures but never actually pulled the trigger. I didn’t want that to be me. When you know better, you do better.

So here’s my “how not to get your FL5 ganked” starter pack from left to right:
  • Author Alarm IGLA — PIN-based digital immobilizer that prevents the car from being driven even if thieves clone the key, perform a relay attack, or have the key in their possession.
  • Author Alarm OBD Block — Digitally locks down OBD port access to help prevent key programming attacks.
  • Drone X2 Max — app-based tracking, alerts, GPS monitoring, and remote connectivity for added peace of mind.
  • GoDark Vault Faraday Cage — blocks key fob signal transmission to help prevent relay attack theft attempts.
None of this makes the car theft-proof, but layered security and making the car a harder target goes a long way. Hopefully I never actually need any of it, but with how targeted these cars have become, I’d rather be proactive than reactive. And huge thanks to a few members here sharing their perspective on the security related products I've mentioned here and others.

Installed one of the souvenirs I got from Japan Autobacs store. They only had blue but it works fine for SGP.

Also installed some CF mudguards I also picked up in Japan. Shot of the front coverage:

And, in the parking lot of the Autobacs Shinonome store, an Fl5 rocking some Blitz exhaust.

I went to the Hondata jailbreaking tour, Chicago stop this weekend. I spent the last 2 days finding all the quiet roads I can and sending it. The 91-octane tune is a massive difference. The boost in 3rd gear comes on nearly instantly now, it's a bit shocking.

I think the car sounds better too. That might be placebo because I really haven't owned this thing long enough and this is the first few weeks of weather where I am driving with all 4 windows down. I'm intoxicated by it.

Finally got the ECU unlocked with the hondata 93 OTS tune - love it!
Eventually will be going down the custom tune route, but after driving this car with almost no "power" mods for 3 years this tune is so much fun as is.

Random request for anyone on here that can help - Can someone please send me the .exe download file for flashpro? i cannot get the hondata website to work. Every time i try to download it, it just pushes me back to the homepage.
