This looks good. Did you order the one for rear too? All I can see is for the gloss one, and I’m not a fan of it too.
Thanks, I do wish someone made a full sill cover that covered this area plus the part of the sill where the OEM one goes. Of course, my experience with those says they look good but can damage the paint or in extreme cases promulgate rust so probably best they aren't available.

No, I didn't see matte either and I'm not sure I want that particular garnish? I've got a 7yr old who is climbing aboard. You could probably email them and request it. I was thinking about asking if they would do door protectors (like Mugens but actual CF) since I'm terrible and push the door open with my foot too often.

I might have seen you late last year driving around North Raleigh, somewhere around the Leesville and 540 area. I saw a white FL5 and screamed at my wife.
Leesville is my exit! Likely me!

My kid was bummed that I lit so much of the front and he only got lights down at his feet. So earlier this week, I installed door handle and map compartment lights in the rear. Install was about as easy as the front doors, but you'll need to choose where to install the LEDs in the map compartment as the front doors have a marking for your hole and anchor points but the rear doors do not.

The big reveal was today, and his reaction? Generally unenthused. Go figure.

11th Gen Honda Civic What did you do to your FL5 today? Rear Door Cups

Ah--one thing I forgot to mention, I did encounter one issue with this install. I got everything installed and buttoned up, reconnected the battery, and found one of my lights didn't work. Typical.

Well, it was late and I was frustrated, and when I removed the rear passenger door panel, I used a little too much force (read: "anger") and ripped the guts completely out of the door-mounted tweeter. The lines to these tweeters are VERY short. Lesson learned.

Many thanks to @Icehawk for graciously offering to ship me one of his leftover tweeters!
