2007 S2000 (bought new). Is a track car that’s going to be converted back to a street toy. The FL5 will do double duty as family and track since I don’t track often anyway. Having 2 cars is max in NYC. Expensive and a pain.

Pretty much perfect garage IMO. What role does the RS6 play?
Appreciate that! It’s my road trip car. It’s just me and my 2 dogs, and I wanted something I could sleep in if necessary that wasn’t an suv that was also badass. I live in way south texas and have driven it to banff, Cali, pnw several times. It’s got 20k miles, 90% is road tripping.
I will say though if not needing too much space the lc is amazing long distances. Taken that to pnw through Yellowstone, Tetons etc and it was the best drive of my life.

about to take the fl5 to the smoky mountains, tail of dragon, blue ridge parkway so that should be interesting. Will be making a post of how I’ve prepped it for long distances.

I recently traded my 2017 Toyota Tacoma for a 2020 Lexus GX 460. Such a smooth and luxurious ride! It's definitely a boat and doesn't handle well. When I jump in my FL5 the suspension is extra stiff by comparison. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a V8 family rig that can tow more than a 4Runner.

After getting my car in Championship White this January I decided to paint match my 2022 Honda Grom. I think it turned out pretty nice! I matched the stickers in red to the emblems on the car. I plan on sharing more in a build thread in the future as I think might own one of the first of this generation in this paint code.

I’ll share photos of my FC RX-7 in the future when I get some good shots!
I’ve been looking at GX so have to ask if you are overall happy with your GX 460? I was thinking of trading my Acura RDX in for one. Does it handle good on the highway - long trips?

Yeah! It's super comfy overall. On the highway it's stable and quiet.

On the 2020+ you get the adaptive cruise control and other safety features which help. I've never been a road trip person but I can see myself enjoying longer trips with the family in this thing just because they did such a good job of making it comfortable. Lexus emphasizes road/wind noise reduction and it's crazy how much less fatigue I feel driving longer distances.

The RDX was never something I considered because this vehicle needed to be able to tow and have a third row. If you want to stay with a Japanese brand and have similar requirements there are not a lot of options. I don't think you will be disappointed with a GX unless you're really concerned about fuel economy. I've been getting about 2 miles per gallon worse than my Tacoma and it requires premium.
