The way they pitch it on their site makes it sound like they're making it in socal
I was talking to my friend the other day. Most companies aren’t transparent about their practices, and they choose profit over client satisfaction. The economy that we live in isn’t one to be throwing away money just because. At least in my opinion, people will be asking more questions and demanding more quality if you’re charging a premium for something. But like everything, all have their army of defenders or people that simply don’t care to throw money away that will tell you that you’re wrong and if you’re poor, you can’t be talking about something.

Bro wtf was that video? They forgot to film zipping and unzipping their pants.

I dont understand this trend of showing everything except the product the video is about.
Probably that’s a new trend for the "modern audience" that all of them are looking for.

I contacted them I asked them for couple of stuff and they didn’t want to change anything nor tell me if were developing something else. Make sense now 🤣!
Sounds about right, Alibaba exhausts aren't as bad as the internet would have you believe, the problem is there is a stigma attached to them that most would rather not deal with.

We sometimes try to use the trendy audios too, the only difference is we are actually made in America. Bespoke welds, backed by a best in class warranty, using T304L stainless steel for durability and tone.

respect for the MIUSA but so many complains about awe welds crapping out, just this week there was a thread about it.

Honestly the geographical location of the welds does not make a good weld

I've spent a few minutes alone in my office laughing at the last sentence...

That last sentence is a banger! I'm tired of people arguing welds based on longitude and latitude. THings and times have changed.

I put on the Magnalflow exhaust and I've been pretty happy with it. @PointByPatrol helped me do the install and it was basically flawless on fit. The only thing I had to do was buy bolts to attach the OEM valve controller. It comes with resonator and straight midpipe. Straight is LOUD and ANGRY, but it does drone like crazy. Loved it at the track. Hate it off the track.

With the resonator on, it's more tame and has very mild drone at cruising depending on speed and RPM. In some ranges, its virtually Nil. Really surprised more people haven't explored it but aside from another guy who did a youtube video, i might be the only person who has this exhaust who's posted anywhere about it.

Also, it has PROPER vBand clamps so swapping midpipes is a 5 minute job.

I said it a couple of times: I was set on the Hybrid Racing exhaust because the tips can be adjusted to sit flush with the bumper. I found one that contradicts what I’m looking for, but I also read that aftermarket exhausts with valve springs start rattling regardless of the brand.

I found the Ballede Sport on the Two Step Performance website, but it seems like they basically designed it for the FK8 and probably just lengthened it to fit the FL5. The tips extend past the bumper, but they sell a cover that makes them look shorter. I think I could trim them, but I’m not sure. I also like that the sound isn’t too aggressive—at 6 AM, I won’t wake up the neighbors.

I really give up on whatever I want because I wish I could get the Spoon exhaust or the Blitz to retain the three tips, but I really don’t feel like paying and waiting for a part for a long time because they are a "small company." But here are the videos of that exhaust.

Hybrid seems to be quality and one of the few that looks right (tips flushed). Not all need this, spoon for example looks fine because its its own thing. That I recall and I might have written this already lol, the ones that look "good" to me in that aspect are AWE, Hybrid, Remus, Miltek. Basically any that let you move the tips around.

The ballade is comically bad, the cover, the fact that it come out so much that will literally burn a hole into your leg when you are loading up the car. Really it would make sense if its the fk8 one, then its a zero effort thing.

Btw I am happy with my Miltek. Welds are not the prettiest and its clamps but so far I do like it and tips sit where they belong. However I bought it used for a good price, not sure how I would feel if I had paid almost 3 grand for it

Yes, that’s why I’m in between them two. I asked them if they plan to trim back the tips for the FL5, but I’m still waiting on an answer. That’s the other thing too: they have the burn tip. Why does almost everyone do that? It looks nice on every other color but on the boost blue, in my opinion, it looks odd. So, I’m really still trying to figure out what will be my last mod. Basically, I want something that sounds good but really not obnoxious. I’m getting old. 🤣 I hear the cars with the exaggerated pops and bangs, and I look at them like the meme of Clint Eastwood on Gran Torino 🤣. That why I want to install something that is like the Hybrid Racing, but the mid pipe stays stock.
