Received my custom front and rear emblems from Qiasi EmblemArt.Studio. The whole process took 2.5 months but man do these look sick. I worked with Ryan (customer communications and support) to take my design from illustrator/photoshop to a physical product. Continuing with my theme of using the seigaiha pattern on the car I wanted something on the exterior to tie into the valve cover emblem.

Check out their IG page I linked above as it shows the tedious and beautiful process of making one of these emblems. It's all handmade so on extreme closeups you can see imperfections, but it adds to the physical/humanizing feel when you think about how intricate the design is. They're a team of 6 working on fulfilling orders. The cost to value is really great as you're only left to your imagination to come up with something personal and unique.

Thank you! I've been trying to help them get more exposure as I really think they're slept on in terms of what they offer to making our vehicles more personal to us. I'm discussing making an interior piece for the car so I can complete having exterior, interior and engine bay with something uniquely personalized.

Went out to practice shooting video and at the end just popped off couple of shots to make this photo. Got home at 12am and I just had to edit it then go to bed at 2am cause I'm stupid. Of course when I relook at it in the morning it's mid.

Car is currently with Santos getting the fuel upgrades installed. Wanted to document again but I was informed by my wife we're going to the Natural History Museum. 🫠

Ordered some custom titanium parts from Russia. The owner Vadim was great to work with and ensured the quality of the product. I've actually been following his ig account: Yperion Titanium for years and finally decided to place an order. Also got his dip stick handle in matte gray finish to match the Alplus ti oil cap. Just need to transfer the oem metal stick when I get the chance.

Production and shipping took about a month total to land at my door. No issues just takes awhile once shipped.

Started to learn video as I should have decades ago.... definitely a bit overkill for the product but hey the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom. 🫪

Pracworks intake manifold arrived! I ordered mine through Michael via email to get a custom order in. Great customer service all around. Pracworks had this made a shipped out to me within 3 weeks from Malaysia. Huge props for great business transactions.

I ordered large weave carbon kevlar with nickel finish. Nothing fancy on the config for the intake as I don't have plans to go bigger TB or port injection.

Looks sweet...For comparison, here is a PIC that they sent me of the small weave carbon kevlar with a polished finish. I think the one you ordered with the large weave carbon kevlar and matte finish looks much better.

Ahhh yeah maybe if the anodized parts were silver or blue it'd flow better. What did you opt for?

Should decide in the next few days but definitely going with the Nickel anodized parts. I sent them an email inquiring to see if they have any other Kevlar/Aramid color options available. Leaning more towards a large weave red Kevlar if available and would like to see what it looks like with a matte vs polished finish.

So I ordered a billet aluminum valve cover from Malaysia. It's from CNC Innovations and took about a month to get to me. They worked really quick and were good on communication as I wanted some adjustments made to it. I originally asked if I could replace their logo with the oem badge spot but they said no unfortunately so I opted to put a space on the spark plug cover.

Now that I have it in hand I have to be honest and say I'm pretty disappointed especially for the price. I looked up reviews on youtube and google and they were mixed but I decided to chance it since there's really no one else offering a metal cover for the k20c1.

Lots of harsh transitions on the machining side of things. I'm not well versed on the method used but I'm guessing this is how they pump out so many orders at a time. My biggest complaint is the oil cap area is only big enough to fit the cap they include. It's a weird design as you'll see in the photos. They really should have deburred that piece since it'll be touched the most in the long run. I've let them know of all my issues and hopefully they'll revise it cause that's a huge drawback. There's also quite a few fingerprints on the raw finished areas. Degreaser won't remove them so it's assumed it's under whatever coating they used.

GoFundMe starting to get this refinished and improved. Here's the oil cap they include. The gasket doesn't even have it's own channel to sit in so it's just an oversized o ring flopping around.

Testing with Spoon oil cap. What's funny is they make so many different parts for other cars and have different oil cap sizes and designs so to make this not fit oem sized caps is a strange choice.

I know manufacturers have stated a metal valve cover would cost too much, i still think we need an option. It's a shame they tried, but fell short.

Going through this I'm exploring designing my own and bringing it into production. I'm still working with a friend on doing a shifter plate for acuity owners and possibly hybrid and cae (when they release it). So we'll see how much money I need to get a billet cover made overseas that's high quality haha.

Wunderladen Racing clutch damper delete and timing cover pedestal arrived. Waiting for the PMM to ship and then I'll be set on the parts I want from them. Been waiting for their clutch damper delete as it seemed like a good mod to do before attempting the cmc damper delete. If this solves fast shifts near redline I'll be a happy racer. My FK8 would always lock me out going from 3rd to 4th when on track and pushing it hard. I'd have to remind myself to baby the shift which already costs me some good time...mentally and physically.

Minor thing I noticed that the design was changed from a square to this kawaii plus shape. Guessing to save weight at the cost of more machining. I love it and hope that's the case cause this is why I love supporting brands like this.

Picked up a PRL WiFi Ethanol Content Analyzer / Flex Fuel Kit. Yeah I caved in to just say fuck it and finish off the engine mods to see what this motor can really push around. Thanks to @JST Performance for the gentle push to get it.

Alright I'm off tomorrow so I'll be installing some parts that I've had laying around.

Really nice build again, man! Amazing I didn’t even know that damper delete existed but is Wunderladen I have their camber/toe arms they were a breeze to install. I have the MAPerformance clutch line that goes from the master to the slave, completely getting rid of the metal lines wonder how different will be with this setup instead. I installed it because I had a frozen line when I was replacing the rubber clutch line with a braided one. I can’t say I experience a lot of high-RPM shifts, but I haven’t had any lockouts or 2nd gear grind so far.

E-tuning has been moving along smoothly. XDI Evo + JSR upgraded oem fuel line w/ 1400cc injectors. Raised redline to 8k since it's slapping on the 4p tr2.5 cams and ferrea spring kit. From a dead stop and flooring it the car feels like it wants to take off from the road. I don't think I'll be doing too many drag pulls as I'm not planning on upgrading the transmission anytime soon. Just gotta save the life for track use and canyon runs. Haha.
