What were the issues?working with honda now to cover my paint issue from shipping...hopefully no issues
bird shit missed the protectant on the roof and damaged the antenna and roof right around it, also had some issues from bird shit by the right rear quarter over the wheel as wellWhat were the issues?
Pics? Did you just file a claim with Honda of America? My dealer is willing to cover a paint correction up to the cost $750. However, if Honda will take care of it I’d take that off the dealerbird shit missed the protectant on the roof and damaged the antenna and roof right around it, also had some issues from bird shit by the right rear quarter over the wheel as well
it needs a deep polish and possible wet-sand

Im dropping it off tomorrow here are the pictures I sent.working with honda now to cover my paint issue from shipping...hopefully no issues
Did it etch the clear coat?
There are a few unclaimed Type Rs on dealership's lots, but most with high ADMs and long waiting lists. Take a look at StevenMatchett's Type R Finder tool as a start. I too was considering a 2022 BMW M2 Comp, as well as a rare, low mileage, one-owner 2019 M3 CS, and both within the ball park of what the Type R is going to cost me - if it ever arrives. But while the initial outlay may be nearly equivalent, the long-term costs are vastly different. The Type will be less costly to own with all things considered from insurance (depending upon where you reside) to service. I'd respectfully suggest getting your name on as many lists as reasonable, wait and see if the ADMs decrease or those ahead of you opt out, establish a good relationship with the hard-working sales folks, and to be patient.Apologies in advance because I am sure this question has been asked numerous times but I wasn't able to find anything definitive when searching through a few threads.
I live north of Boston and have called a few local dealers in MA/NH over the past few months and haven't been able to add myself to any lists (some have said at this point it will be 3+ years). I am OK with paying 5-7.5K over MSRP, but all the dealers I have talked to have been asking 15K+. I am hoping to purchase a new vehicle in the spring/early summer. Currently, I am #2 for an MSRP M2 allocation and will likely have a build slot in March. I prefer the Type R, because I think it's better bang for the buck, but with the current ADM I've been quoted, it puts it in M2 territory which I can't personally justify. What are my options at this point? Are people that are on lists still subject to a big markup and does it even make sense to try to get my name on a list at this point? Will more Type R's be available in spring/summer or have they already been mostly spoken for? Thanks in advance!
Dang Dawg!?!?
