Seems like there aren't any new FL5s showing up in the tracker. Curious when we can expect the next wave of shipments.
Nothing before the end of this month to Mid February

They haven't even delivered all of the first allocation yet. Maybe Cali gets some by summer but I wouldn't expect any on the east coast until at least summer.

yeh and Hyundai has been shipping 2 to 3 cars every month to each dealer since launch.
I have no interest in any Hyundai to be honest. Caddy Blackwing is looking better. Going to go by the dealer Saturday and if I don't have my car by then I may switch to one of those.

Can’t deny the unbelievable performance for the money. But what ever Hyundai is doing to deliver consistent cars is incredible compared to Hondas logistics.

Just got a call from my local dealership in Burlington, Washington. I put my deposit back in December. They asked me for my top 3 color choices. They are estimating that it maybe between 60 to 90 days. Hopefully there estimate is correct.

I'm just not a fan. It's a personal preference. However whoever was in charge of this logistics operation should probably be sweeping floors now. Maybe they should poach Hyundai's people....or me. I'm pretty successful in the supply chain lol

Will this be their first or second allocation?

I also received a call today from the WA dealership where I’m first in line. This is likely the second wave coming.

It seems like dealers are at least getting early allocations this go around. They don’t have a VIN yet. Maybe that means the boat is on the water or they are just getting started building them. Who knows.

Well mine was built the second week of August and my dealer got their allocation on Halloween so that may be an indication of when the second wave is coming.

Possibly. I think the first wave was definitely weird with the delays and trying to time the launch with a specific timeframe. I hope the second wave is smoother!

Hyundai has done a good job. They also manufacture their own semiconductors or a high percentage of. When your volume is consistent, life is easier.

That is exciting news.

with what is happening in California right now as far as weather, expect more delays...

these second wave cars won't hit until probably feb-march realistically

we did see some new ones pop up part of the second round, but their vins are not even active in IN which mean they're at minimum a month before arriving in the states

Hyundai is the only vertically integrated auto manufacturer on the planet. It would be sad if they couldn't move their own metal when they own every part of their process.
