Just some interesting tidbits I came across, it looks like Honda officially announced the FK8 facelift on February 19th 2020. However, spy photos of the 2020 started emerging almost a full year prior, in April 2019.

Even if we are to assume that the prospective 2026 R arrives "late", let's say November 2025 for instance. Then we should have absolutely seen some type of spyshots or something by now, just going by what's happened in the past.

This assumes a facelift and they don’t just continue a ā€˜26 model without changes. No changes means no need to test anything. At this point I’m not expecting a facelift and am 50/50 on if this is the last year of production. It’s not looking like this will mirror the FK8 production in any case.

Agreed. I think at this point we either get an unchanged 2026 or nothing at all

While disappointing as it is, I feel like there is more evidence pointing to not having a FY256 model than having one.

Makes sense. Good read.

Aren’t the newer NSXs part electric? How are they? Never see them in South Florida so guessing it didn’t sell well
They only sold about 3,000 units of the NC1 over seven model years so you shouldn't expect to see many of them. I've only seen two of them on the road ever and one was a guy who lived in my neighborhood.

I was at the dealership today and while they didn't mention anything about a 2026, they did say that all FL5 parts are on a 6-8 week factory backorder, which seems... odd.

This is starting to make me feel sad.

I'm also wanting to trade my '23 for a '25, but I swear, as soon as I do it, LE will be here lol.

I believe it lol. I have 22k miles on my FL5 and trade in value is still strong. Carvana offered to buy mine at 41k. Glad to have one at least - will just keep my eyes peeled.

same here about 40-41k from carvana. I love Phoenix Yellow but damn I don't want to reset and then add another likely 20k on top šŸ˜‚

They didn’t sell well, definitely not at first. But they became more popular especially once they stopped making them. Funny how that works. Good luck finding a limited Type-S version! Those are especially desirable. Honda built a badass car. It just wasn’t what Honda heads thought it would be and that’s the main reason it didn’t sell well…well…and it was (still is) quite expensive.
