How would that influence the driving dynamics if you were to drive it on a track? Aren't bigger tires better because you get more grip?

yes and no. you go too large the sidewall becomes floppy and you gone get a good feel for the tire. at the same time it can be harder to get heat into them.

I guess at some point, you reach a point of diminishing returns and you're just adding more unsprung weight. Probably hurt acceleration in the straights too.

It seems 275 or maybe 285 is max for a 9.5" wheel.

Looks wise i think a 285, but for autocross we are fighting short gearing. this 285/35 would help extend second by a bit.

Mine tramline a little on the stock setup. I can’t imagine wider. 911 territory .

Took a lot of lube and about 80psi to pop the bead but 295/30/18 re71rs will be the size I’m starting with this season
