Looking to trade my Type R hatch for a wingless hatch. I have a 2024 Type R wing risers and wiper delete. Will come with all parts to return to stock if needed. No damage just want to be wingless. Pfa! Located in southern Indiana.

I would at least consider keeping the original hatch if you swap. If you ever decide to sell the car, it might be difficult to do so without the original hatch.

maybe buying one off ebay and painting it might be the route? might be easier to sell yours than trade but good luck either way.. this is what i would have to do if i didnt want a wing.

I would be concerned about going as far as swapping the hatch and the paint not perfectly matching.

Op wants less stability and heavier hatch.
So I was always under the impression that the two physical hatches were identical (even material wise). Haven't checked for a part number, but a quick Google search tells me there might be some minor dimensional differences.

In either case the materials would be the same from what I understand. It's the wing removal that really is a stupid idea, but people buy cars for looks and it changes the look ig

That part. I can’t help but think of societies downward spiral just to pretend “I’m different.” Generally speaking, we all bought the same car, same mods as everyone else. It’s a sea of sameness. You’ve already started on the wrong foot. Now, “wingless,” great, you just made it less functional.

Oh no, modding our cars to our liking is the downfall of society

I think it's a great idea to do this mod as cleanly as possible. Surprised there haven't been any takers.

And I doubt that the OP is going to miss out on the tens on pounds of downforce on that one high-speed sweeper on their commute.

Remove with the prl wing delete but maybe getting a local shop to paint it to make it seem less obvious. I agree with other I wouldn’t want to swap it for resale value, wanting to go back, not matching, and also alignment of the hatch.
