Anyone got wind of when the next batch lands in Canada (if any)? I'm guessing based on previous years it'll be December?

I think you're right. I'd have to look at the releases I posted back then, but from memory, I think it's November to January. I'm sure there will be a few stragglers between now and November.

I've only been looking for a CTR for the last 2 or so months and I am finding I am about 1 year late to the party. Called 50 dealerships in southern ontario over two weeks and only about a handful are even taking orders for a brand new one and even then I am 6th to 33rd in line... The rest say to order off the honda website but when I go there, there is no option to get an allocation.

Am I just fked? Seems like its impossible to try and even get a MY26. Any suggestions?

There are several cars with almost no mileage listed for sale within the last few days. The dealers arent delivering allocated cars, they register them and once they are "used" they jack up the price to $68K. Honda Canada should cease delivery of Type Rs to these dealers.

You can ask @roastduck if there was a stop in BC before the final stop at Richmond.

I don’t think you’re out of luck for getting the car, maybe getting one new. It’s clear to me that a lot of dealerships took initial allocations for themselves or family, and now putting them back on the market to be sold. Some are people trying to flip, others may not be able afford the car and sold back. There’s a good amount with low mileage cars on there that wheeling and dealing with dealers might be the better option, especially as we move into the winter months.

We don’t know if there’s a MY26 coming. I’m leaning towards no now, even more because it appears there’s no changes to coincide with the rest of the civic lineup. May an LE if anything but we’ll see.

@mbraun came across your video on youtube!

Ya, I started a car review channel with my two kids last year. The episodes are usually with another person but couldnt rope any of my kids into this one as they were both busy! I also have more reliability and comparison info on my episodes (+a dad joke..). Will get my son into one on the Type R as I update my ownership experience.

Looks like a dealer in ottawa got one from a cancelled order. I thought it goes to the next in line rather than go to the “ used” inventory for price adjustment?

Wonder what they're hiding in the price. I mean my 2024 Integra Type S was $69kCAD out the door with about $2k in accessories and Quebec taxes/registration.

I would imagine they've put about $7k "market adjustment" given the difference in MSRPs and the 2% less in Ontario sales tax. That or some really expensive/overpriced accessories.

Many dealers have been taking allocated units for themselves and flipping them a month later.
That car is a 10K markup before tax. Im sure Honda Canada doesnt give a shit though.
