I have had this happen to me a few times when I didn't have the seat belt fastened. For example, got back into my car to readjust the car's position after I parked it. Didn't release the parking brake and tried to move the car. It didn't move because I hadn't released the e-brake. Not a problem. Car is fine. I also tried moving forward with the e-brake on WHILE my seat belt was fastened and the e-brake released automatically once I started to move forward.

Your car is fine.
another thing, i found out the e-brake will engage at 50 mph and lock up the wheels....had a brain fart and hit the wrong switch  luckily i immediately disengaged it within a fraction of a second
