Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has ever checked or knows if pulling the fuse for the exhaust valve sets any sort of hard or soft stored fault codes?

Thanks

sorry, I haven't checked so I don't know.
since we're now here... why are you concerned about whether a fault code gets saved?
I promise you, dealer = DGAF
I laughed because I think you're overthinking it... enjoy your car bro!

That was my exact thoughts. I just didn't want the give the dealer any sort of BS reason. Ive had bad experience with BMW warranty in the past with a blown engine so I'm not sure how Honda is as far as their warranty claims and how strict they are.

Honda is the #1 engine manufacturer on the planet. I have confidence that if the engine in our car blows up, it is very unlikely to be caused by a fuse that was pulled out.

In contrast, if it were a BMW, if we pulled an exhaust fuse out, I bet the car wouldn't even start.

This is relevant to many owners because any codes (even pending) will disable some of the fun Hondata exhaust features that many have grown to love.

To my knowledge I've never seen anyone report an issue due to this but It's not something I've tested myself.

Yes it does store a code. I can't remember correctly if the code was P-16B or P-16E. It was something along those lines, that fuse is part of a communication line.

You pull the fuse but put it back after making the valve move to the open position.
Really? I thought the fuse has to be completely removed for the valve to stay open and if you reinstall the fuse it goes back to the normal operation?
