Mine showed up this week, but I am waiting for the weather to improve a bit before I tackle the front install. I will probably wait until it's time for the winter-to-summer wheel/tire swap to do the rears since I will be pulling the rear wheels anyway.

You don't need to remove the wheels for the rear. I just jacked up one side and used a stubby finger grip screwdriver.

That's a timely response, because I was planning to swap my winter wheels to summers later this afternoon, so I will have them off anyway! I figure that will make it easier anyway, and this is hopefully a one-time install...

I got mine installed today (fronts and rears) during my winter/summer wheel swap. I installed them without the VHB tape for now and will go back and add it after I am happy with the positioning. My starting point is with the screws centered in each of the mounting slots on the flaps.

It was mostly easy, but one thing that took me much longer than it should have taken was the installation of the front "mesh" pieces. I got one of them installed, but then read the manual more closely and saw the statement about the higher/thicker edge and that it needed to face the fender (which I read as "outward"--away from the centerline of the car). Getting that thicker edge to tuck between the painted part of the fender and the part adjacent was tricky, and I am still not sure I got it quite right. I think it is close enough, though.

I'm hoping I read that right and it was not supposed to point toward the centerline of the car instead!

I turned the mesh around and went right in. Maybe its wrong but it will function exactly he same? Yeah - the holes didn't align perfectly once I finally got that thick edge wedged into position, but they were close enough to get the push clips into place. Fiddling with those probably added an extra 30-45 minutes to my install time!

I think the material is too flexible to allow for a proper "push" of the thick edge into place -- it just collapses on itself. I finally figured out I could get a bit better simultaneous grip on both the front and back surfaces by sticking my fingers in the rear facing vent and getting another finger on the forward facing surface as close to that edge as possible.

Here's a couple of pics of mine installed:
EDIT: These are positioned with the screws in the approximate centers of their mounting slots.
EDIT2: I noticed when viewing the car from the front or back, this positioning puts the outer edge of the flaps at approximately the outer edge of the wheels (give or take a few mm).

Just installed the fronts and with the thicker edge of the mesh pieces tucked under the fender vent lip I noticed that they needed to be installed with the L & R at the bottom. Otherwise, the push pin holes were nowhere near lining up.

We are always listening to the community and improving our products (Like every manufacturer should do honestly).

I came to realise that there has been a mistake with labeling and with the instructions for the fender mesh install. This happened when adding the "L" and "R" letter to ease the install.

If you have purchased a kit prior to April 16th 2024, please refer to this image for the correct orientation of the mesh.

We will be sending the updated instructions to everyone that has made a recent purchase via email and we will rectify the issue as of today.

Also worth noting that we now include a low profile screwdriver with the rear guards. With that tool, it is no longer required to remove the rear wheels for the install.

And just to clarify that image you posted...

In the photo, the L and R are reversed, but which surface faces the rear of the car? Is it the one that is face up in that picture? And does this place that thicker edge "inboard" (toward the center of the car)?

I'm genuinely sorry about that It is 100% my fault.

The image shows how you should be seeing the mesh during the install process. The thicker edge is oriented towards the rear of the car, like the guide says. So you swap the left and right, then turn them upside down.

As for making the STL available, I'm not too keen about that.
I put a LOT of effort and energy into the whole business thing. Hope you understand.

Totally understand - no worries on the screwdriver. I could model one myself in about 3 minutes, but thought I would ask.

I installed mine a few days ago and didn't bother with the VHB tape yet, but I think I am happy with the positioning now. Is there any harm/risk in not using the tape?
