I wish I had gone 275 in hindsight but these weren’t even close to rubbing

Thnx for answering! What makes them god spec? Just the appearance of it looking great? Or is it functional? Or both?18x10 +40 wheels.

Gotcha. I myself went for a new set of the copper de5 wheels. Threw my stock summers on them. Then threw some new dws06’s in oem size on the stock grey wheels. Easy choice to make since the oem wheels are flow formed and not super heavy boat anchors. Waiting on hrc’s newest forged wheels. Hopefully there’s a 19x9.5 with a 60 offset option.I've been asking questions around the origin of this term for at least a year.
I got the same answers you are.
That said, I bought a set of wheels in this spec a few weeks ago. But the only reason I'd consider them "god spec" is because I can run bridgestones on them, they currently don't make them in a size I consider compatible with 19" wheels on this platform.
Otherwise I would have stuck with 19, in fact that was my first choice, a set of Apex VS-5RS in 19 x 9.5 +45. 19s just plain look better... but tire choices are shit.
So in that sense I think you nailed it... a cross of functional + aesthetic, there really isn't a better option for this platform.
Although I think an argument could be made for 19 x 9.5 +45, especially if you're ok with running the OEM Michelins in perpetuity.
