That looks really good. I like the 35s. I might do the same in near future.

Not the best pics but should give you an idea. OEM summer tire for reference.

Looks great! Thinking of doing the same. I drive from CT to NY all the time and twice I struck a pothole so hard that I thought I completely cracked the front rim in half.

Now that you've spent time with this set up... Do you have any thoughts or opinions?

I'm happy with it. The extra sidewall is a lot better for city driving. I'm no car reviewer, but in my opinion unless you are tracking it you won't notice any real negative performance changes in street driving compared to oem.

What impact on tracking would be anticipated with going from 30 to 35 on OEM wheel?
The diameter difference is 4% which is not much (per tiresize.com)

Oh probably little to none. I just meant that some seem concerned with scrub radius and other numbers/metrics. In my unknowledgeable experience the 35 is some nice pot hole protection, no reduction in performance for street driving that I can feel, and the all seasons Michelin is nice because I can use it all year. Ideally I'll get a summer wheel set up for looks/performance.

Speaking of Michelin Pilot AS, my daily driver setup just arrived . Will get some good driving/ride impressions once installed.
Are those the Triumph model? Any idea what the weight is? They look great I wish they came in gold. But the bronze may work for me.

Yep! Triumph 18x9.5 et45 mounted on Michelin pilot AS 265/35/18s.

By my math, the triumphs weigh roughly 22lbs. I derived this by weighing the new setup and subtracting the official listed weight of the tires which is 27lbs. 49 - 27 = 22lbs. Btw If you're looking to save weight, go with the Continental DWS 06 plus, they're only 20lbs.

Here's a pic of my setup and the weight if it helps.

Update - I've got around 5,000 miles on this setup now, including summer, fall and hopefully the last of winter.

I'll keep it simple, these are amazing. For street use , I can't tell any discernable difference in steering response or all out grip. Ride comfort isn't that much better, only marginally improved, however the bigger sidewall has saved me many times with pot holes/imperfections. Tire noise is less than the PS4S, however the CTR still has a lot of wind noise on the highway, don't expect the car to turn into a Lexus.
Tires are amazing in the rain, and are adequate in slush /light snow, no problem.

Nice review. I think I’ll roll with these for my all season setup.
