Sorry lol thread title was just my attempt for an attention grabber because winter wheels and tires are Non-applicable where I’m from. And I do feel for you guys out there who do have to deal with snow and blizzard type seasonal weather. That’s rough and I would truly have a hard time not being able to drive a car I love, the way it was built to be driven, during the winter months.

Anyways, I finally had a person with a real camera, not just me and my iPhone, take some higher quality pictures of my build.
Thanks to Martin-IG: @ redherringphotography

Man, those pictures look really nice! And that rolling shot on the H2β€”wow! I’m not 100% sure, but man, I miss being there. Such a lovely place!

About the HKS lip kitβ€”did you drill into the rear bumper and the sides? It’s so hard to find proper information online.

Woah I was a lil surprised when you straight up mentioned the H2! Had me checking where you was from. Well, you should recognize the backdrop off this roller then🀞.

As for the HKS lip kit, it comes with instructions for the install and yes it states to drill a hole for the side and rear pieces. For this reason I had to think about it because once I decide to drill, it will be permanent. Can’t really switch it up without having exposed drill holes. But yeah I actually really liked the look of the HKS kit and even more cuz it was and still is rare to see on any FL5s.

Love to see aftermarket 19's on a car. I think it looks much better on the frame of our cars.

Amazing shots, do you have any high rez versions anywhere?

Wasn’t too far off then! πŸ˜‚ I’m originally from PR, but I was stationed there for three years, which is why I kind of recognized the background. I really miss the spam musubi, McDonald’s breakfast (not gonna lie), and Cinnamon’s Restaurant with their red velvet pancakes and coconut syrup! It’s pretty expensive to get that here in the States, and it just doesn’t taste the same. Still, I have some pretty amazing memories from thereβ€”I even bought my Evo there, too!πŸ€™

Props to your photographer/editor, this is an amazing shot.

How many miles of good roads are there in O'ahu? Ever ship your car to the Big Island and drive Mauna Kea?

Love the wrap. Looks just like phoenix yellow and looks just as good on the FL5 as the FK8 LE
