No, but it helps to get the center point on front of the car to raise it and put the jack stands easier without burning the clutch every time you try to use the other ones 😂 at least that’s what I experienced.
I need to find a trusted mechanic I don't know about all this lol I'm better with computers.

I did lol 😆 nice images that helps a bunch. I will just suck it up and do the oil change myself if I cant find someone soon.
Texas heat sucks man I sweat a lot and just putting tire shine was hell. Excited for some cold weather soon.

When I put them on I should have taken a picture this was after a drive lol
I wish they just stayed in correct position all the time haha

Me the OCD guy again. What he means is the bottom of the H should be pointing toward the valve stem on the wheel.

And if you get locking lug nuts, the lug nut above the valve stem is the one that gets the lock. It’s an old car-guy thing.

Ah! I see what you mean, great now it's going to bother my semi ocd brain 😆

I meant that the H should be pointing toward the valve stem lol. We NEED floating center caps, that for sure!

Alright as you and the OCD guy said, the BOTTOM of the H is now pointing towards the valve stem. I can go on with life lol.
No matter what though the orientation of all Hs are out of sync, we definitely need floating center caps that never move.

Looks like conversion kits do exist:
https://wheelsfloat.com/products/honda-floating-center-caps?variant=56117986558335
https://www.visualautowerks.com/col...cap-conversion-service?variant=41059981459517

I wish I had a 3D printer or find this type of floating center cap conversion kit for the FL5 that chat created. I might have to just make my own somehow lol - good product idea or no?

This is me, but in my opinion and OCD I have the lower part facing the valve stem, and the wheel lock is also there, so I’m not fishing. Where is the lock located. But it will defeat the purpose and will look cheap on a Rolls-Royce, ok on a Type R no, not so good. I just mean when you take the tire out, it will be facing that way when you put it back. But at the end, it’s your car; if you like it, go for it.

Hey everyone, I found a shop that will let me use my own oil and filter.
I did some research but can't decide on a good combo.
Any quick suggestions?

So far I have this combo suggestion: OEM filter and mobil 1 EP 0W-20 (Do I get 1 of these 5 qts?)

You just opened the floodgates of opinion 😂! Now people will claim that skipping the Japanese filter is wrong or that the 002 filter is poor quality. In reality, you can use any option as long as maintenance stays consistent. Personally, I began with Amsoil at 90 dollars, but I now use Valvoline restore and protect 0w-20; I have never favored grades outside the recommendation. Even on my 460 hp EvoX, I used 5w-30 as Mitsubishi advised, though others will suggest otherwise. I will switch to the OEM filter’s alternative because the nearby dealer is shady and I will not buy from them, so I am choosing Purolator. The car needs 5.7 quarts, so you should get about 6 quarts. Ultimately, it is your choice what you want to use.

OEM oil filters are now made in China, not the best (and the previous made in US filter were lowest rung Fram). look at Purolator ONE (not Boss), and PGI oil filters.

As for oil, Amsoil Signature is arguably the best, but more expensive and not readily available. and with short oil change intervals, makes little sense.

I purchased Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 after researching replacements for Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, which is no longer pure GTL (Gas to liquid) due to the current situation with Iran.

My research found that short 4,000-5,000 oil change intervals are more important than the make/type of oil
