A semi threw a rock and cracked my windshield in a small place, so I’m trying to save it with a Permatex kit.

Based on another thread on these forums,, glass replacement in these cars looks like an expensive pain in the butt.

Ouch, that's a damn shame. Let us know how that kit works out, may be a lifesaver for some!

I was a little shocked to start reading the threads you're talking about; if I would have researched the windshield price and the fact these cars have no spare tires, that may have been enough to make me not purchase...

Thankfully I was ignorant to these points and made a damn good purchase
