About 6-8 months ago I came across a CTR YouTube clip that looked amazing and actually started me on the path to buying one. Now, of course, I can't find that vid; but I recall it was a blue car (possibly FK8) filmed at least partially at night and featuring red striping along the lower edges and scissor doors!

Not sure this would actually be for me in the future, but just wondering if any forum members have successfully done this type of conversion and what it's like to live with?

There are a few companies advertising, such as Vertical Doors:

I remember seeing these a lot of these in the early 2000s when the tuner scene started getting big. It was a cool novelty then. For me, the cars that have them from factory can keep them.

LOL! Yeah, I think I'm convinced; a little silly on a 4-door.

PS--I had never heard of Slicon Valley, but I'll have to check it out; thanks foor the clip

Definitely check it out! It’s probably my favorite comedy series of all time.

Scissor doors:
Silicon Valley:
I know 2 people who have worked in the tech industry and couldn’t stand the people involved. One of them still works for Google I believe. They both report that they’ve tried watching the show, but just can’t handle it because it’s such an accurate portrayal of that world and it depresses them. Thankfully, I have never experienced that environment and can enjoy the humor!

I suspect it's a bear getting the door seals to mate right.

It's not for me, having shoulder issues in the recent past.
