Bummer to see lower quality materials being used. My 91 crx with 130k miles (tracked multiple times) doesn't have any of these issues. Not too concerned about it, just disappointed. I guess it highlights the rigidity of car in some areas and flex in others.
Really? Hahahahahahah kid stop it, your strut towers have been rocked rebuilt rocked again before you even owned it Hahahahahahah.

It is likely in a CRX the materials flexed more so less stress was concentrated in certain areas. 90s Hondas had aftermarket bracing for everything because it helped, but sometimes putting too large of a sway bar could rip the mounts out.

When everything is soft, nothing is stressed. The higher power, higher weight, more demanding suspension characteristics and NVH demands focuses more impact stresses on the unibody structure. It should be able to handle it well, but defects will show up. There are always tradeoffs.

I'm going to guess a kerb was hit on a turn. Normally a low profile tire, tie rod, or ball joint would fail first. Similar with with those damn pot holes.

Seam sealer shouldn't crack, it is supposed to form a moisture barrier at welded panel interfaces, where paint would definitely crack. Crack means moisture will eventually seep into unpainted areas and rust.

See if your dealer can file a warranty claim, but don't mention track day...
Very good point on the moisture. Any decent dealers in socal you would recommend? Ones that actually know about FL5s and not specialize in minivans haha? For sure won't mention the track even though the FL5 has the FWD record on the Ring and it was featured in all of Honda's marketing material.

HA! Maybe it was pulled aside at the factory for a quality test on the track and the sealer wasn't fully cured lol.

Good points, 90s Hondas for sure flex a lot. I avoided the curbs at Big Willow CCW, but turn 2 and 3 puts a lot of stress on that part of the car. 90MPH right hand turn that climbs elevation. Car still did great for being completely stock, it was like riding on rails. Similar to my CRX but WAY smoother, none of the classic 90s NVH. Still managed a 1:39 lap time. There was a full bolt-on FK8 that I was trying to follow to learn the line better. He managed a 1:32.
