You must not be married but if you are, I hope your wife does not see this thread.
I am! I built the truck first with full Fox suspension, tailgate cover, mats, steps for myself but she loves it so she drives it.

So now I’m building the FL5! Lol ?

Yes I’ve been dying to go to the track!! I bought a Snell Approved helmet before any mods. Lol

Living only 1.5 hours from Sebring raceway, 2 hours from Homestead raceway and 2 hours from Daytona I’m pretty lucky.

Debating on whether to try a track day next month in this Florida heat or wait a few months till fall time. Hopefully one of the track nights will finally fall on a day I have off sometime soon.

With the FL5 overheating issues, it just seems like a waste of time to go to a 100 degree summer track day.

The car in OEM spec can handle it! Just flush your brake fluid to a DOT 4 spec (Castrol SRF is a great option) and send it! Check out my build thread, I have yet to run into over heating issues.

I'm going to HMS the 24th through PDG. They still have availability.

The Shift Boot looks amazing! I also have the Spoon Shift knob. In my opinion, I think it doesn’t worth $80 dollars. Really more like $40 or even less, but I guess that’s the Spoon tax 😂.
Agreed! I actually paid like $105 with tariffs for the Spoon knob! SMH but I do like it!

I didn’t like the oem or the red leather oem knobs and thought the type s one was ok. So the Spoon was worth the money to be happy with it.
