I highly doubt lowering springs will make your track times slower lol. However I don’t think they will improve them and likely stay exactly the same. Most of the springs for fl5 seem to stay pretty close to oem and most reviews say they ride just like oem.

As I read here before from Tezzasaurusrex who id always on point and actually has tons of seat time is that everything you do is a compromise. Lowering springs will lower center of gravity and have more stiffness but might change geo a bit. Ball joints will gice you more camber but also at the expense of the same thing.

Agreed, I think the biggest part of it is getting the car how you like it as everyone has different preferences. The more comfortable you are, the faster your lap time will be anyway.
