Voss has a black DE5 with 3500 miles on it, in case you're interested.
Tbh not a fan of the DE5 just cause it reminds me of the fk8. The natty wide body looks better to me. I also don’t need all the extra comfort stuff it comes with. Just wanna enjoy the car in the summer :) I got my trusty lil 07 Lexus keeping me good in the winter

According to other post, that 2000 number is not accurate. And nobody is walking in and getting msrp on the spot, most are waitlisted for years, has connections, or is trading in another vehicle at a loss for msrp.
Based on relative inventory, now is a significantly better time to buy vs July. There is easily well over the July number of 400 in inventory. There are at least 600 new CTRs available on dealer lots (50% increase in 6 months) not to mention the in transit units. Another thread debating accuracy is moot, it’s all relative, and inventory is unquestionably better now vs July

By the end of the summer, I suspect you can easily get one between MSRP and $2-3K over. And with easing of Euro 7 emissions, I also think Honda will sell beyond 2025

I only wanted a black one and found one in transit at my nearest dealer. They told me about it before it even popped up on motoring obsession. I put a refundable deposit of $1,000. The deal is $4k ADM and the $499 dealer fee. I’m a repeat customer at this dealer. No other extra costs. This is in Maryland. I saw the latest shipping info and seeing the numbers for black type r models I can live with it. I’m in Maryland.

In my search I also found Jim Coleman Honda in Clarksville, MD now has TWO white ones. A 23 and a 24. I was messaging with a “fb salesman” for the last couple months and he said $3k (on the 23) over this past week in our messages, but no clue if he can actually deliver on that. He said once the 23 sells they’ll be $7,500 to $15,000 over on their ‘24. I’m not a fan of that dealer and didn’t want white. Someone may want to jump on this if interested.

I think you can do better than 4.5k over MSPR right now, personally. I'm putting in zero legwork and I'm having dealers I reached out to previously messaging me about sitting CTRs and several have gone <5k ADM without me even negotiating. I imagine if you show up in person to a [reasonable] dealer that has been sitting on one for a bit, 2-3k ADM shouldn't be terribly difficult.

A dealership in the Atlanta Georgia area has a championship white coming in. MSRP + $5000 ADM + $1144 accessory package that they put on every car on their lot. Call Joe Headley at 404-784-1150 and tell him David sent you.

There was one deal that did not go smoothly, but they seem to be back on track with selling at the stated deal.
I've been told that the car is on the lot, and they have dropped the ADM to $3000.

I keep reading similar comments from a very small group of people and it’s hard to believe lol. Majority still can’t get less than 5-8K ADM.

I was able to get a CW '24 from Economy Honda in Chattanooga, TN for sure $1600 over MSRP plus their already added permaplate coating. Doc fees were a little high at $750 too but it was a smooth transaction. Salesman said they had 2 more inbound and wanted to move inventory. This was one of the first sane comments I'd heard come from a salesperson concerning these cars. Guy's name was Kyle Cheatham if anyone wants to inquire about the inbounds.

How much was their permaplate coating? It might as well be ADM cause literally it's just spray on garbage. I'm seeing a lot of dealers advertising these coating/protection packages instead of ADM.

Anything above MSRP, sans documentation fee, is ADM, period. The dealership can frame it however they'd like, and people can try to justify it as "something I would've bought anyway", but it's ADM.

I agree it's ADM and FYI I don't justify it but since they've already done it you can't ask for it to be removed. I would much prefer to apply something of my choice but it's the games that are being played. Most of the dealers I spoke with were adding ALL of the accessories on top of a 5 to 10k markup. Ridiculous

I understand it cannot be removed; however, you can tell them you don't want to pay for it. They can figure it out from there. That Permaplate nonsense is a high margin item. Including it in a deal won't kill the deal for them from a profitability standpoint.

I love how some folks here who paid an ADM and are also endorsing "their" salesperson who is again charging ADM. ADM salespeople are not friends. A few months ago, that may be the only game in town. But hang in there for the eventual MSRP deal during the spring/summer. There is just a lot of inventory on the ground and coming in.
