Give it another day or two lol.
I've been giving the same offer to every dealer who responds to me. It maybe the end of next year but eventually one will take it just like with the FK8.

You are getting close already. Sounds like you will get it before you know it.I've been giving the same offer to every dealer who responds to me. It maybe the end of next year but eventually one will take it just like with the FK8.

I'm still waiting to hear from Mall of Georgia but I'm honestly slowly losing interest especially with the market being a little weird.
Mine was 56k otd but I want them to include wheels and spoiler. Sounds like we have similar idea on price.
Doing better than me when I dealt with them. They told me 61k otd with no accessories at all. I asked if they had someone lined up already and they said "not at that price." Which told me a lot about how they operate. You are getting close already. Sounds like you will get it before you know it.

Just got this back from Wheaton Honda in Edmonton AB Canada.Yeah, so in Canada they can't technically can't charge more than MSRP, however there's a lot of loop holes around it and dealers have been marking up cars especially because of the supply issue. Before the supply constraints you were able to either get the car at MSRP or cheaper and if you want to add accessories, you can but they didn't force it on you.
For example, they add on a whole bunch of random crap like 3 year key fob warranty for 5k or something like that and if you don't purchase the car with that add on, then they move down the list until someone takes it. Another common loop hole is they list it as 'used' and can list the price at whatever they want it to be at.
Interesting. When I called them a month ago it was 5k ADM$10k markup at CMA's Honda of Winchester, Virginia even though there was this huge image on the homepage of their website.

That's really surprising and dirty. I have been first in line with a deposit a little after the news about the car came out. I was told its coming soon and I should be getting a call. At first it was 3500 ADM when I first reserved it then it went to $8k which I wanted to try to see if they throw anything in but now they are trying to sell it from under me. Kinda sad I was trusting them and I did purchase my limited from them and thought maybe I had a good group of guys to deal with.Doing better than me when I dealt with them. No, it was some time ago, I forget exactly when. Before anyone had VINs or even knew their allotments really. They said they knew they were getting "at least one" and the other stuff. Curry Honda also offered me ~61k OTD around that time, but they seemed even more sketchy about it. I guess I don't have high expectations on dealers nowadays.I figured they can do whatever they want but still surprised. Was this recent? Did they say when it will show?
This is the way. Dealers are price gouging pure and simple. Buyers need to stand firm and refuse to play the game.I've had one dealer contact me 3 days in a row basically begging me to take their 56K OTD offer. I keep telling them the same thing.
"My offer is $49,900 OTD or $53,900 OTD with the forged wheels."
Today the the guys said what if I can do 56K OTD with the wheels, I said no and repeated my offer again.
Lol, are you taking it at 75k? The most expensive FL5 I've seen so far is 80k.Just got this back from Wheaton Honda in Edmonton AB Canada.
They want add ons which add up to over 40% of MSRP.
$10,000 for 3m Wrap and $4,000 for a ceramic coat lmao.

Knowing a friend that got his at MSRP Freight & Tax also in Alberta is making me not want to. Makes me wonder if this is breaking some sort of rule in Alberta.Lol, are you taking it at 75k? The most expensive FL5 I've seen so far is 80k.
My magic number was 65k-67k depending on color and I know 2 people who secured FL5's between 60-65. It's getting out of hand lol, dealers are doing what they want because they know that if you don't take it, some other guy will. Placed an order for an A91 Supra and on the bill sale we agreed on MSRP+3k add ons. Once the car arrived they changed their minds and wanted 120k for the car when MSRP was like 78k.Knowing a friend that got his at MSRP Freight & Tax also in Alberta is making me not want to. Ok, Thank you. Its good to know and I'm gonna keep my expectations low. I will see what happens and most likely pass on it.No, it was some time ago, I forget exactly when.
