Yeah I'll just do it Thursday-Sunday if I have to but seeing if anyone else has an allocation around 48.5k that this works out better for and their allocation is closer to me in CA.
Good to see you're making it work for you!

If it hasn't been sold yet, Balise Honda of West Warwick is doing MSRP for their CW Type R. Might add accessories though (very vague answer by the salesperson so I backed out because I can't drive 3hrs just to get the exact price) and would only take in-person deposits.

It's a community. I don't understand it... Why not just help out?

It is one thing if I was like... Yo, find me a car. I'll pay you for your time. It's something entirely different to be all... "Pssst hey buddy, I know where one is but I'ma need some $$$"

One dude created an entire website to help people. @AspecR has shown nothing but love to people.

I just don't understand...
I asked as well and immediately got turned off when he told he needed money before contacting the salesman.

The same reason dealers slap on ADMs: money moves the world.
No hate on the guy though.
Don't know his situation.

There are brokers for cars, and I think it’s legitimate when someone charges for services. I personally can vouch for the individual who helped me to find the best deal out there on a type r. I just don’t have time to call 30 dealers a day. All I can say is that he’s the best.

Yes what you said is true. If they want to do business they can go to leasehackr.com

I have a white Type R secured at 48.5k that arrives March 6th. However, I'm in CA and the car is in TN which is a 27+ hour drive home and dealer won't allow shipping. Anyone have an allocation at the same price that's closer and this works out better for you? Figure I'd see if anyone wants to swap. Only interested in white or blue.
Fly out.. Drive off the lot.. have a car transport company at the ready at your nearest shopping plaza.. fly back.

Is this an option?

MSRP for the car, 10-15k in add-ons last I spoke with the guy.

Probably the same dingus that messaged me about an allocation and wanting a 1k finder's fee. Glad to see he's at least lowering his fee 😄 Just reaching out to dealers casually I have found several that would accept at MSRP +5k. Even the ones asking 10k will probably bend if you show up in person with intent to buy.

Entertaining conversation with a local dealer that has a FL5 on their showroom. It’s outrageous!

So we're seeing a whole new wave of inventory I seeee. Being that most people that wanted early access already cashed out, I'm feeling hopeful we'll start seeing a lot more ADMs in the $5k-$7.5k. 🙌

Don't get your hopes up until dealers start getting their 2nd allocation. These dealerships getting their first allocations aren't going to likely part with theirs while other dealers got 7k-15k ADMs. There are deals to be had though, no doubt.

I agree. Monkey see, monkey do. But, the very first wave are the ones willing to pay M3 money for the Type R. Not a whole lot of them. Did you see that Type R that went to auction and only got like $5k over MSRP and USED. Prayinggg 🙏
