UPDATE

Installed the 27 down pipe and the PRL flex fuel kit and now using ktuner running a E30 tune from Phearable.

13000 miles tuned total
Only like 1000 miles on the E30 tune it feels like a different car has power through low to high rpms its wants to go!!
Love the tune John at Phearable is the man.
UPDATE 22 SI

At 20000 tuned miles now. About 8000 on Phearable e30 tunes

I have changed to PRL HVi with cold air duct big difference for the heat down here in FLA and PRL intlet pipe. also installed Fk8 clutch and rv6 flywheel and a PRL rmm made a huge difference in putting the power to the ground. No issues at this point. Change the oil every 3000 miles and really don’t abuse the car
Have ARP head studs and Rv6 BB turbo waiting to install. Honestly real happy with the way car is running right now

Vehicle: 2022 Civic Si

Total tuned time: 7 months

Tuned miles driven: ~3,500-4,000 (don't have to drive far for work)

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: None, PRL HVI coming soon.

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Spirited, with pulls in third/fourth every once in a while.

Tuning experience notes: Rev hang while cold still persists, worse with map 2 and 3. Mainly live in Map 2 @ 18 PSI with sometimes going into 3 @ 25.5.

Total tuned time: 3 days

Tuned miles driven: 40 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: Pherable stage 2

Fuel used: 93 octane (tuned for 91)

Additional related mods: PRL HVI intake, remark quad exhaust

Problems/issues: first 20 miles, had high K.Con but now has stable .55-65, might have to do for still driving on my last gallon of 87OCT.

Driving style: Aggressive pulls

Tuning experience notes: not much sound change but can definitely feel the pulls harder at high rpm thanks to the tune making the VTEC, kick in at lower rpm. (Will update after another 500 Miles)

Total tuned time: 1 month, tuned Christmas day lol, tuned since about 33k miles

Tuned miles driven: 1000ish

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: Ktuner Dual 18 basemap

Fuel used:
93 octane

Additional related mods: PRL HVI, PRL FMIC and charge pipes, 27won RMM street, muffler delete, high flow resonator

Problems/issues: Initial drive on Sport mode had higher KCon (up to 0.74). Values came down over a few longer drives in the next few days to .49 .52. I still see KCon jump up to 0.59 to 0.7 after pulls and more aggressive driving, with values right at 0.49 when driving normally and smoother.

Not sure if that is normal, anyone can comment that would be helpful!!!

Also, I have noticed that ECT1 climbs to 190F idling in extended traffic (usually 185 Max at normal conditions) and ECT2 ramps up pretty quickly too. I recognize that I haven't had the visibility before the tuner so just an observation. Again comments are appreciated.

Driving style: Aggressive bursts here and there. Normal mode in traffic and rain, sport mode all else. Typically smooth commuting with fun runs on the weekends or late night. Occasional pulls.

Tuning experience notes: The tuning process is straightforward, lots of good guides and walkthroughs out there. Having the added data, gear indicator, and shift lights is great.

The tube really smoothed out the car in many aspects. Basemap power comes on hard down low and trails off up top. Revhang is way less of an issue. And idle stopper is nice.

Absolutely wakes the car up even on the 18psi map. Passing power is quite noticeable. Honda definitely left some power on the shelf. Feels quite reliable and I honestly feel like I am beating on it less now since tuning.

Likely the most power added yet. Still suggest FMIC as a sooner mod to ensure repeat power.

Have wunderladen catch can I also plan on installing. I will be flashing to the Ktuner Dual 21 basemap next, with the TSP Stage 1 (plan to use mostly map 2) as the final destination. Just getting a flavor of the different layers of power and getting comfortable with the tuner itself.

This thread and the one on Civic x has been super useful. THANK YOU OP/MODERATOR!! I'll provide updates too.

Total tuned time: 5 Months

Tuned miles driven: 8,000ish miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: Starter 21 Dual 2(for a week or so) then Pherable 1.5 map 3(non si 23-24psi)

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: PRL FMIC and Charge Pipes, 27won downpipe, Oem Si exhaust

Problems/issues: Noticing some clutch slip at high boost after a summer of occasional pulls. Backed down to map 1 for now until I acquire some parts, will report back.

Driving style: Heavy foot when I'm alone, mostly chill highway miles

Tuning experience notes : Early spool on, auto stop disabled, still seemed like my mpg adverage improved over stock tune(mostly highway @75ish).
Update: rv6 fk8 clutch kit installed and broken in! Back to full time map 3 and enjoying my car again. Almost at 36000 miles now with no other issues. I did the braided clutch cable upgrade and removed the in line clutch dampener while I was at it, still factory feeling to me. Also installed a fl5 rear motor mount with a insert. Combination of the dampener delete and stiffening the rmm makes taking off smoothly effortless compared to before.

My oem clutch eventually slipped more and more until it wouldn't hold power really at all. Replaced clutch and flywheel myself, was expecting there to be no material left or a bunch of heat marks but it looked completely normal. Thought maybe pressure plate wasn't enough then I noticed I could move the two peice flywheel by hand back and forth. The oem clutch is not sprung in the middle like most street applications, The spring inside the flywheel is what actually takes the drivetrain shock and I can say with certainty I wore mine out. If anyone is considering a clutch job I recommend a traditional flywheel upgrade and get rid of that dual-mass design. I suspect the Si may have a different setup to make rev match work but I'm not sure..

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: K&N Intake, MAP race Catback

Mods awaiting installation: (Mods getting installed when I get the time) PRL IC + Charge Pipe kit, RV6 retro Flywheel + Exedy Stage 0 Clutch, MAP Frontpipe, RV6 Catted DP, Once all parts installed will get a custom tune from National Performance in Wilmington to replace TSP Stage 1 tune.

Problems/issues: Tiiiiny bit of clutch slip

Driving style: Aggressive bursts here and there

Tuning experience notes: With how she sits now the turbo is louder, the exhaust sounds good and the tune really helped wake the top end up making rides much more enjoyable. The clutch has had a little slippage very rarely (expected) but it honestly has preformed great so far with no major issues.

UPDATE*

Vehicle: 2023 Civic SI

Total tuned time: ~3 months

Tuned miles driven: ~3,000 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1

Fuel used: 93 Octane + 1 Gallon E85 sometimes

Additional related mods: PRL HV Intake, TSP HE Catted DP, PRL Front Pipe

Driving style: Spirited with daily pulls

Tuning experience notes: No clutch slippage still. Pulls way harder than my brother’s stock ‘22, no regrets.
UPDATE*
Car is now FBO

Vehicle: 2023 Civic SI

Total tuned time: ~1 year, 3 months

Tuned miles driven: ~14,000 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1

Fuel used: 93 Octane + 1 Gallon E85 sometimes

Additional related mods: PRL HVI, TSP DP, PRL FP, PRL TIP, PRL FMIC and Charge Pipes, PRL RMM

Driving style: Spirited with daily pulls

Issues: Minor clutch slippage has started to happen on long road trips. My LT fuel trims have been creeping up when idling around 0.08 - 0.10. At first I thought it was tune related but I believe it could be a boost leak.

Curious what your Kcon looks like and how often you put e85.

Kcon is regularly 0.49 but will get to 0.6-0.7 after just a couple of pulls. I'll usually put around half a gallon of e85 with a full tank of 93 and kcon will never go above 0.52.

That seems to be my experience on ktuner 21 dual too. Are you putting a little e85 each fill? Thanks man

My tank rarely goes below half, but I don't put e85 in each fill. Maybe every 2-3 fill-ups or just when I know I'll probably be doing a few pulls haha. I will say kcon starts rising a lot quicker on the ktuner basemaps vs TSP.

That's an interesting observation. Might need to flash the TSP then lol

Thank you

Tunes used: Hondata 91 basemap + type s burble

Fuel used: 91 octane

Additional related mods:
- PRL HVI
- PRL Charge Pipe
- PRL Intercooler
- PRL RMM

Problems/issues:

IMPORTANT NOTE: With boost uncapped in the tune configuration, stock BOV causes "straining" noise at high boost pressure typically 24-26 pounds. I've created a thread on this particular observation requesting comment and input, and according to some sources the stock BOV is capable of far more boost pressure than stock turbo could possibly push. This likely is therefore not an issue, but I've heard the BOV noise change at times when boost pressure is as high as 24-26 psi. This will likely require ongoing observation.

Aside from the above observation, no actual technical problems have occurred, but if i stomp WOT in first and second I'm spinning wheels. I am only able to push 3/4 throttle which I am not very happy about. wheel hop specifically is essentially gone with the PRL RMM, however spin is still occurring and will likely persist and increase as I pursue further bolt-ons and other performance upgrades. front wheel obviously not all of the weight is in front of the point of exertion like it would be in RWD but we all already know that but the main point is that I am sure there is a way to hook better and I just don't know what it is yet. I need help identifying more solutions. *NOTE* STOCK WHEELS + TIRES is definitely a factor. I assume 18x9.5 will help, although it will defintely not entirely eliminate wheel spin. I have had trouble finding any extensive information of wheel spin specifically, anyone that has information on eliminating wheel spin please send help Lol

Driving style: Car is a daily, typically driven conservatively but running the car hard as hell when the time and place is right.

Tuning experience notes: For anyone with an IGLA, just put it in service mode if you are getting the car jailbroken without removing the ECU.

Thank for adding your car.

Just a reminder to all tuned 11th gen owners. This thread is ongoing and you should be a part of this long term reliability study.

If your car's already in the thread, add new update posts from time to time so I can keep the first post stats updated and accurate.
