Vehicle: 2022 Civic Si

Total tuned time: 1 day

Tuned miles driven: 60

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: KTuner Stage 1 (18 psi)

Fuel used: 91/93 octane

Additional related mods: PRL Stage 1 intake kit

Problems/issues: Foreseeable speeding ticket in the future! :drive:

Driving style: Spirited

Tuning experience notes: Noticeably smoother. No bog down in first gear anymore. Always had pull in 6th, but now it really does!! Couldn't be happier, and this is a conservative tune!

Total tuned time: couple weeks

Tuned miles driven: ~100

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata Flashpro CARB

Tunes used: CARB 250 (planning to set and forget)

Fuel used: 91

Additional related mods: none, no other power mods planned. Possible intake/exhaust in the future but just for sound.

Problems/issues: none, hope the clutch holds up

Driving style: Spirited (in the appropriate time and place)

Tuning experience notes: Really wakes the car up! If it came this way stock, all the reviewers would really have nothing to complain about with the 11th gen Si.

Guys if you're tuned, add your car to this thread. I'm pretty sure there are more than 18 tuned CivicXI owners here. ;) My similar thread at CivicX has proven to be an important one for that community.

Total tuned time: 5 months

Tuned miles driven: 11,000 Miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: Phearable High Boost for 99% of miles, recently dropped to Mid Boost Tune

Fuel used:
93

Additional related mods: PRL HV Intake, down pipe, front pipe, and Intercooler with charge pipe upgrade

Problems/issues:
none

Driving style: Spirited

Tuning experience notes: Had bad clutch slip if accelerating in 5th and 6th from low RPMs. 4th will slip from time to time too. This was with just down pipe and front pipe so only got worse after Intercooler and HV Intake. Dropped to mid boost and eliminated most slippage and still provides a much better driving experience over stock. If you’re on the fence about 1st mod and bang for your buck, KTuner is where I would start. Then plan on clutch upgrade if you’re plans are to add bolt ons.

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: ktuner map 3(23psi) & Tsp 1 map 3(25psi)

Fuel used: 91 octane and 91+1.5 E

Additional related mods: K&N short ram. Sounds fawking great. Hot iat tho.
Exhaust resonator delete. Remark exhaust on the way.
Problems/issues: None at all

Driving style: Spirited. A couple pulls a week nothing crazy. No racing

Tuning experience notes: I really like the ktuner map3 tune. Its smooth and actually pulls. I was on the tsp tune for longer but I occasionally had some slippage so ill stay off that till I upgrade clutch.

Appreciate the new tuned cars added. Trust me on this. If we can get all 11th gen tuned owners onboard, this thread will help the community a lot. My 10th gen version of this has been a big help at CivicX.

1 Year update:
Vehicle: 2022 Civic SI

Total tuned time: 11 months

Tuned miles driven: ~9000 miles

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2

Tunes used: TSP on Map #2 90% of the time

Fuel used:
93 Octane

Additional related mods: None but have a PRL HV intake on order

Driving style:
Spirited with occasional pulls on/off ramps

Tuning experience notes: TSP tune is fantastic and even the base map is better than the stock tune. So far no clutch slippage but I don't drive it like an asshole.

Hopefully more and more tuned owners will find this thread and add their car.

Long term, it will really help us see not only how 11th gen people are setting up their tuned cars but how tuned reliability looks. Over at the 10th gen forum, I've been doing this for almost 3 1/2 years and have nearly 1,100 tuned owners participating. There have been some failures but the majority have been user error, abuse or simpling bumping up power to the 'nth degree. On an OTS tune, maintaining and driving the car "normally", the 1.5T has proven to be pretty reliable in the 10th gen.

It's also good for owners in this thread to add a new update post from time to time with any additional tuned miles driven, issues or tune/mod changes. I update the first post stats as new info comes in. Here's what we have so far:

Current Stats
Total tuned cars: 23
Si: 12; Non-Si 1.5T: 10; 2.0 NA: 1
Sedans: 14; Hatchbacks: 9
Total tuned miles driven: 55,700
Problems reported: 0

Transmission: CVT: 9; Manual: 14
Upgraded clutch installed: 1

Tuning device used: KTuner: 20; Hondata: 3
Tune type: Base only: 14; Custom: 1; OTS: 8

Most popular fuel used: 93 octane (14)
Users topping off with E85: 1

Cars with bolt ons added: 8
Cars with no bolt ons added: 15

Related mods installed
Aftermarket downpipes: 4
Aftermarket intercoolers: 3
Aftermarket frontpipes: 3
Upgraded charge pipes: 1
Aftermarket exhausts: 1
Cold air intake installed: 2
Short ram intakes: 2

Thanks for taking the time to compile all of this data for the forum members. It will be interesting to see the long term reliability of the 11th gen is vs the 10th. I'm inclined to think the 11th gen is just as reliable as the 10th gen with similar strengths(tunability and efficiency) and weaknesses (clutch). As more 11th gens are sold and the miles begin to rack up, I think we will see the 11th gen just as good as the 10th gen.

Total tuned time: 1 month

Tuned miles driven: 1138

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1 on Map 2 mostly but really enjoy map 3!

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: Stock besides Acuity shifter cable bushings. Planning to add PRL HV Intake and maybe a downpipe at some point. New clutch in the future most likely as well.

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Spirated driving

Tuning experience notes: TSP map 2 is a really nice daily tune and wakes the car up. The Map 3 tune is really fun and you notice that little bit extra for sure! I haven't noticed any clutch slippage but I don't WOT often to try and avoid it. No issues so far. I will most likely upgrade the clutch in the future just for peace of mind.

Total tuned time: 12 months

Tuned miles driven: 14,000

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata

Tunes used: 250HP/250TQ, VSA disable, full throttle, rev-hang disable

Fuel used: 92 octane

Additional related mods: PRL air filter, rear motor mount

Problems/issues: Valve cover weeped oil. Replaced with 10th gen/Accord gasket. A corner of timing cover seeps oil.

Driving style: 10-15 track days a year.

Tuning experience notes: Boost comes on a lot earlier. Car has a lot more torque. Full boost at around 21 psi. No clutch slip. Full throttle shift could use a little bit more timing retardation.

None

Driving style: normal commuting, 1-2 hard pulls a day

Tuning experience notes: will edit as time goes on, throttle response is fantastic. I have no slippage in the clutch so far, however I’ve only done pulls 4k rpm and above and the clutch has been broken in for 3,000 miles before install
