I had the PRL RMM for about a year now.

I did not notice much increase in NVH, but also not much decrease in wheel hop

Note that I drive like an ape, no finesse, and I cannot seem to be able to modulate and control the accelerator pedal for a perfect wheel hop free launches...
Yeah it either has to be spinning or hooking up no happy medium. I usually just short shift first and sometimes second gear if my tires are to cold.

That’s the general consensus. I think it’s a great RMM for the 1.5T, but for the 2.0T, Wunderladen Street or COBB is the way to go

Bought some OEM+ goodies today. Finally took the plunge for the 19" OEM forged wheels and bought a homelink mirror from an MDX and the wiring harness. The only other thing I'm wanting to add at this point is the backlit door sills. I had them on my FK8 and I really enjoyed them.

Thanks for the feedback. I went PRL because the consensus seems to be that it's not too extreme compared to other options, but interested to see if I can feel much difference at all given your experience.

The mirror was my first upgrade, I have super sensitive eyes at night so it was worth it. Also recently did the backlit sills too, I love em.

I’ve pretty much given up on 1st and, to a lesser extent, 2nd gear in this car, especially with a tune. I just end up spinning the wheels and longing for RWD.
Last summer I was behind an old Miata in the rain. We came to an intersection with a long sweeping left hand corner from the stop sign. He punched it and did a nice power slide out of there and I tried to chase him. Here’s how it went: My wheels just spun for the first 3 gears as I watched him pull away in a car with 1/3 the power🤣
I was laughing my head off at the irony of having too much power to keep up with a first gen Miata.
Of course, if I had stopped pounding my chest and put down my banana for a second, I may have used the non monkey side of my brain to finesse the throttle a little.

So not sure if anyone had any issues with the RV6 bypass valve getting stuck and causing a CEL, but i try to contact them for a solution and or a replacement and they just brushed me off asking me to do all these vacuum test making me buy additional tools to perform the test. Even while i showed them and explained that the bypass valve had a delay opening up under vacuum, they said it’s functioning. Short story the piston either has debris in it or was not properly greased when assembled. But i moved away from RV6 and went to a new brand that I cam across on the Net. Here are some sound clips, and best of all it comes with 3 spring strength S-M-H… that no other brand is offering. I’m not promoting in any way shape or form. Just want to share with those looking to bet better BOV sound from their intake and turbo. Here’s what it sounds like on my PRL P700 pushing 535whp. Sounds should be similar on stock turbos and upgraded turbos as well, Spring strength will determine pitch and duration to some extent. I’m currently on the Medium spring, rated @ 15-23lbs. Couldn’t be any happier with the results and sound.

Now this is the sound Honda should have pumped in through the speakers!

I spoke too soon on the wheels. Rant time: Why on earth in 2026 do all automotive based retailers take your money without question and then email you afterwards to tell you they don't have the part and probably won't have it for months/years? This was a dealership. They knew full well they didn't have those wheels. Almost all of our forum sponsored parts dealers do the same thing. "Message for availability" because I'm advertising parts that I know I don't have.

Love the turbo flutter noises, but how does it sound from the inside of the cabin and not the engine bay? Any fly by clips?

Finished off our time with the Hybrid Racing Exhaust, and it was a great setup! Overview and sound clips here

We installed the MXP afterwards, and I've been living with it for about 3 weeks so far. We're changing up our format to shoot videos and post them at the end of each exhaust test so I've got proper seat time to gather my thoughts.

So far, I'm pleasantly surprised that this exhaust ended up being nearly as quiet as the Hybrid, and that's a good thing for me personally because I prefer mild increase in volume. You can audibly tell the difference between Comfort (closed valve), Sport (partial open valve), and +R or Individual (fully open valve). I cruise around in Comfort mainly, and throw it in Individual when I want to have some fun.

I loved the independent valve control on the hybrid, that's one thing I've come to accept that I need to rely on the car modes and not just a remote. I prefer the larger and spaced out tips of the MXP, even more so than HKS Hi-Power. The joke around the shop is that this is like the Hi-Power, without the JDM tax. Funnily, there were 6 in stock when I first made the post about it on Facebook, and the comments section was filled with positive reviews from other MXP owners...now there's none in stock at the distributor's, with a 4+ month lead time
