I feel this topic is similar to oil change intervals or suspension discussions. A four-cylinder will never sound like a flat-crank V8, a V10, or a V12, regardless of whether the exhaust is made from one material or another. All of this is subjective to the person installing it. For some, an exhaust that costs $1,700 sounds great, while someone else who spends $5,000 also enjoys their setup. In the end, it’s all subjective—what you like probably isn’t what I will like.

Then comes the issue of drone or no drone, followed by NVH or staining. Just go to YouTube, check out what appeals to you, and go from there. This is a topic with a million different opinions because what’s good for you may not be good for me, and vice versa. If you want to spend $10,000 on an exhaust, do it if you like the sound. If you just want to do a resonator delete, do that too. It’s your car.

Some topics can get annoying because they keep popping up repeatedly, and I’m at fault for that as well. I’m not saying you’re the only one, and I’m not trying to rub you the wrong way.

Unfortunately, that is the only video I could source for you. However, the company that the YouTube channel belongs to is based in Australia, and they are amazing at sourcing, shipping, and selling Japanese products to us here in the USA. Check with them; they may have a video of one installed. Who knows.

I'm still waiting on someone to record the Seeker Trident exhaust. Really want to hear it as it's top of my list.
I've been eyeing the Seeker exhaust as well.

Are you in the Australian FL5 Facebook group? There are some clips of members who have installed the Seeker exhaust there. I don't think I can link them here unforch.

Lol wait what? I hadn't been back on. No need to get testy. I'm embarrassed to admit the amount of time ive spent an researching an exhaust 😂

I couldn't find a replacement for the center muffler. It's too small, you may be able to have them fab the smallest dynomax bullet, but honestly I think its easier to replace the valved muffler with straight pipe and leave valve functional.

This. The Australia FL5 FB Group is one of the best on FB IMHO. When I was researching exhausts I found most of the helpful information there. I located two SEEKER exhaust clips (drive by and start up/standing revs) I could not locate elsewhere. If the exhaust didn't weigh more than stock and didn't have torched tips I likely would've went in that direction.

all these videos do is show me someone call it a muffler... this is just another "trust me bro" source imo.

It’s all subjective but love my Remark Dual tip 3”.
I love the sound and get nothing but compliments from folks on the streets and asking what exhaust a long with my mods because it sounds so good.And I also agree 😆
Had it for I think 4 or 5 months and I still feel the same with no regrets. Oh and fitment is second to none especially at this price point including the flange connection and welds. My installer was very impressed with ease of the install,quality ,and with no adjustment needed.

I'm not on FB sadly, but it sounds like I should be from the sounds of that. I was also completely unaware that it weighed more than stock, that's a shame. I just like the idea of Seeker as a smaller tuner and Honda specialist.

There is a race version that is louder. This video was of the street version.

After all of this great info....IF, IFFFFF! I pulled the trigger on an exhaust today? It'd be TOMEI duals. Sounds great and looks amazing!!

Remark has unmatched build quality for their exhausts, both the titanium and stainless steel varieties, obviously this is my opinion. I'm also a huge fan of exhausts that have bolt-up flanges rather than the ones that are slip-fit. I will say that I helped a buddy install a Magnaflow exhaust recently, and the tone was deep, and I thought it sounded really good. The Magnaflow exhaust uses v-band flanges which is a step in the right direction over a slip-fit exhaust.

The trouble with most exhaust videos is the microphone that people use to capture the sound. Oftentimes the high pass filter cancels out the deeper tones, so it's difficult to get a good representation of what the exhaust actually sounds like. Next time I'm around my buddy I'll try to record his exhaust with a 32 bit float microphone so that we get ALL of the sound without interference from high pass and low pass filters.

If a DP is ever in your future. Just do a dp + front pipe and be done with it. I heard a fl5 in person with this set up and it sounded good (for a 4 banger).

Shiiiiit, dp and front pipe is cheaper than a catback tbh. And there are gains up top with a front pipe and catback. For sure. But I bet there’s more gains reducing that back pressure in the dp. I dunno if the turbo will accidentally spool a little too quick and set off a cel but that doesn’t seem like the case. Worse case U can just tune for it? Tho I don’t think this is gonna be a thing. Folks here never complained about it being a thing.

HKS has another exhaust in the works.
I saw this video back when it was released. This one instance wouldn't immediately dissaude me if I were interested in this exhaust. More data points need to be gathered before summarily dismissing it from my consideration set.

I would ask people who have the exhaust about these items raised in the video. I often find certain "issues" are raised and they are in fact, non-issues. I would also inquire directly with SEEKER as they may have a perspective that could put you at ease. The low(er) hanging midpipe could be operator error. Same for the exhaust valve. Also, with the exhaust valve, even if it is a little noisy, you likely wouldn't hear it in the cabin when driving the car. One could also view it as a quirk or feature, similar to the wastegate rattle. Too much to unpack here before moving on IMHO. There are over 40 exhaust systems available for the FL5 and this one is in my top 5.
