EVS BALL JOINTS OR WHITELINE BALL JOINTS FOR CAMBER?

Any one have some pros and cons? The EVS balls joints are a little cheaper and Im targeting -3 camber for track and autocross. Ive always liked Whiteline and have their entire catalog on my sti. EVS seems decent, but I'm not to familiar with them. Any feedback about the 2 is great appreciated!

I ran the white line adjustable ball joints on my 24 civic sport hatch and they did a fantastic job helping me get the camber I wanted. I wouldn't cheap out on something directly attached to the wheels 😅
I dont think EVS makes a cheap ball joint. I know pointbypatrol runs them and made an install video and they seem to do him real good haha they are like 60-70 bucks cheaper than the whitelines but I dont throw bad quality parts on any of my cars

I dont think EVS makes a cheap ball joint. I know pointbypatrol runs them and made an install video and they seem to do him real good haha they are like 60-70 bucks cheaper than the whitelines but I dont throw bad quality parts on any of my cars
If Ben has them - they are fine. Mine actually arrive tomorrow.

We have installed countless sets of both EVS and Whiteline LBJ on customers vehicles. Personally we run the whitelines on the shop FL5.

They both function the same - they have adjustments from 0 to -3* camber, and uses shims to adjust the setting. The whitelines have little pins on the housing, and you put shims on the specific pins for the slot/setting you want. The EVS has no pins, but have different shims you use for each setting. Install effort is the same on either and adjustment effort is 'technically' easier with Whiteline as you can keep the knuckle bolts threaded and just move it to a different pin. Although, in reality it's the same as it's not actually easy to adjust the knuckle with the bolts attached anyway. With the EVS the bolts have to be fully removed and change the shims. Whiteline is black, the EVS is anodized red-ish.

We have the Whitelines in stock. PM for forum pricing.

Honestly no preference, both are quality pieces. But availability and our cost just made it easier to go with Whiteline.

In addition to removing the stock strut pins, at the -3* setting, you are able to get right around -4* of camber. Also keep in mind adjusting camber with the LBJs will increase track width a hair so your wheels may 'appear' more pokey than previous.

They're the same. No real reason to not buy the cheaper one.

IIRC I believe Hardrace may make their own too, but also more expensive than the EVS for functionally the exact same outcome.

That's all very good info, thank you. I went with a 18x10.5 et47 apex vs 5rs wheel wrapped in a Potenza RE71-rs tire (275 35 18) so its going to have very slight poke regardless. I'm leaning towards EVS just because of the price is slightly cheaper and functionally do the same thing and both good quality.

Whiteline is under strict Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies. Thats all I can/will say.
I wanted to buy a set of whiteline LBJs when they were on sale for like 280 but I waited to long and the sale ended so thats why I think I might do the EVS LBJs

Thats awesome, Im keeping my fl5 fairly mild with just wheels, tires, ball joints, intake, acuity shifter, and sportline lowering springs. My fl5 is mainly a daily/dad car that I can have fun with and take to the track and do autocross events with. I have a fully track dedicated sti I compete in thats just shy of 500whp on e85, but it cracked 2 cylinders (closed deck block too) so it'll be down this year while I get the funds for another rebuild. Im a big fan of your track footage and your feedback on your car to see whats working and whats not. Its inspirational thats for sure!

Cracking 2 cylinders is impressive, especially on a closed deck block! Any idea what happened?
