A little while back we had seen Honda testing out it's new hybrid system in a mule on track in the 11th
gen civics, but it seems they've finally revealed the design for two hybrid vehicles. One is a sedan, the other is a SUV - and this article reckons the sedan is a prototype for the new civic.

Is this the death of the compact car? Reminds me of the Toyota crown sedan, where the Japanese version is a sedan and the American one is lifted to appeal to the American SUV crowd.
I'm hoping it's the basis for the next accord and the civic will stay more compact looking at least.
