These are Mugens But I never heard MITA but would probably stay away from them and would go with a highly reputable forged wheel brand instead.

Sitting on:
Bronze Mugen MF 10 - 18x9.5 +45
Fire hawk Indy500 275/35/18
Swift springs (FL5 version)

Why not email them and ask them about shipment numbers (wheels sold), their compression rating, and their warranty policy? I personally am not opposed to trying other companies out but it is your money and your choice.

Uhh... except, whoops. I totally forgot to ask them anything you mentioned here. Jeez sometimes I'm an idiot.

I did manage to ask Mita where the manufacturing process takes place, as in I directly asked if the wheels are made in Japan. Then I asked if Mita ships to the U.S., and if so, then approximately how long the whole manufacturing to shipping sequence of events will take.
If and when I get a response, I will be sure to ask the questions that @TchnoZ33 posed above.

Alright! I got a response from Irene at Mita Motorsports, March 5, 2025, around 12:25 A.M. CST.
Here it is:

To answer your questions, Mita wheels are made and manufactured in Japan. The manufacturing process for the wheels typically takes 20 business days. We ship to most countries including the USA. However, the wheels are shipped from our facility in Hong Kong. Shipping from Hong Kong helps us offer more affordable rates while still maintaining efficient delivery options.


Here are our the shipping options available:


Sea Freight: This is the more cost-effective option, but it takes approximately 2-3 months for delivery.
Air Freight: This is the faster option, but it is more expensive.

Please note, you may notice a "Made in China" sticker on the packaging, as this is required for legal export documentation when shipping via Sea Freight or Air Freight from Hong Kong. You can simply remove the sticker once you receive your wheels.

I'm on swift sports springs. I think it looks good in my opinion but if you want it to poke more yea doo the 40 offset i kind of prefer the 45 that the wheels came with.

Now, i've ordered a handful of small things from Japan here and there but nothing like this. And the estimated shipping rates show, it's 650$ just for the basic international fedEx.

So all in all it'd be at least 5400$ for the wheels, wheel locks and some center caps. These wheels do seem good but i need to think about it..

I'm thinking it'd be these mugens or the forged honda OEM ones, potentially the Volks as well

Another option to consider. Similar looking Volks (G025) that BHJ has on sale:

Almost half the price of the Mugens but the G025 does have a different offset (G025 is +44 vice +60 like on the referenced Mugens that match the stock offset).

Apparently, they are available in other optional colors not listed on the BHJ website. The Volk website shows those optional colors near the bottom of this page:

Considering the wheels are made to order, you should be able to change the color option if you contact BHJ beforehand. Personally, I really like the optional Shining Bronze Metal color on the G025. Here is a PIC of the G025SZ Edition in that particular color:

Thank you all immensely for the input and feedback, I greatly appreciate it!

I like the idea of the Mugen & OEM Honda forged wheels because they have the exact same +60 mm offset so I know either should pretty much match factory spec exactly. Those Volk wheels look great too.

With that said, how much offset difference can I get away with before it would interfere with the ride handling or the brake calipers or anything like that? I have no idea what kind of wiggle room there is with using a different offset

To be determined. Many of us have strong opinions and conflicting views. I would love to find an aftermarket wheel/tire setup that matches the factory feel with a slightly more aggressive offset. I don't know what the answer is but I've been researching for years now. I tried 18x9.5 +45 with some good summer tires and was disappointed.

I think the consensus is if you go to 18" wheels you NEED to run aggressive 200TW tires to match the feel of the factory 19" setup. Anything less will increase comfort at the cost of handling. If you go with 19" wheels you can go a little more aggressive with the offset but anything beyond +45 is probably too much torque steer.
