Has anyone lost a PRL HVI filter mounting screw and knows where to get one identical to the one PRL uses in their set?

Yep happened to me. I contacted PRL for new ones but they took a while so ended up just getting some from amazon instead. I used blue thread-locker and it has been good so far.

I reached out as Im missing a couple of bolts and one is loose. They wanted to create an invoice and bill me. I will just find something local that will work.

I've heard of the issues with the screws falling out, which is not good at all and not confidence inspiring, but to add to it by charging you, or having to wait 6+ months for a design defect, that's crazy.

PRL crossed off the list.

I have. You can find the actual screw on Amazon. I have like 100 of them now. Finding the same washer was tough so I just bought new ones that look similar.

just to clarify here, when you open the screw page the default shown specification is M5 x 12mm, is that the correct screw or do I need to navigate to a different specification of screw shown on the page?

lost my first one today off of the air filter mounting side on the PRL HVI. looking to pick some of these up to keep on-hand along with some blue loctite...

The correct screw specs are M5x0.80x16mm. We made the bolts longer. The issue with the 12mm is that the threads did not go deep enough to get the loctite to bite in the threads.
