285 width tire or wider for track use?

Is anyone running a 285 or wider tires on track? Please post what you're running and any issues you may have run into.

Tires square to rim or slightly stretched is faster than pinched. So if 10.5" rim is approaching max for fl5 then 275 or 286 would be max without pinching the tire. Esp for 200 and under TW that run wide anyway.

You make a good point, but I honestly don't know how much clearance there is. Do you have any idea how much clearance there is with the VS-5RS 10.5" wide wheel?

Apex wheels has a good wheel fitment guide I'm not sure how much more room there is past 10.5.

I´ve seen 305 slicks fit so 285´s are no biggie
