I just sold my GT4 last week. I was having more fun on street and track with my FL5, and now I have a M2CS on the way to keep it company.

I can’t really fault Porsche for raising prices. The retail market has gone crazy for the GT cars, and buyers lucky enough to buy at sticker were flipping them for $50K or even more. If there are that many buyers in the market willing to spend that much money can you blame the company for keeping the profits in house?

I am not getting in a debate over this with anyone. I have a 911. I know the deal. But it does not mean I have to agree with the associated brick wall that enthusiasts walk into everytime they want to purchase a car meant to be driven. Just my opinion. No hate.

Porsche could fix this problem if they boosted production to meet demand, but then all the collectors would mutiny. Porsche is shackled to the folks who rarely drive their cars which I think will hurt the brand long term.

Production and prices are up significantly from 997.1, 997.2, 991.1, 991.2, 992.1 and now 992.2. Philosophy has been demand -1 and the price increases and ADMs seem like it’s still working, at least for now.

That is awesome - my only track experience so far has been with a 718 GT4 and while I daily my FL5 and have yet to take it to a track its incredible to think that I would probably have just as much fun in it as I did in that car.
