After roughly 9 weeks of waiting for the ITS Damper Module to come off back order … it finally shipped today :headbang: almost feels like I won the damn lottery:rofl:

So for those of you that are looking to get them now might be the time to ping the system to get one.:coffee:

Do you just place an order through a random Acura dealer?

Us CTR owners in Europe could do with our friends over the pond setting an international shipping service for this part! :)

Ordered an ITS ADS unit from Acura Parts HQ this morning only for it to be cancelled due to backorder a few hours later. Anyone know a lead on where to snag the module? Should I just call local dealers? I’m in the ATL area.

Have you tried myacuraparts.com?

I placed an order on 10/29 and they put it on a backorder. Confirmed via email that they will ship the part when the backorder gets fulfilled.

Just placed an order with them, let's see if I get a cancellation.

Placed an order with MyAcuraParts on Saturday. They emailed me same day saying the ADS module was on backorder and if I provided my VIN (presumably an ITS VIN) I could get on the “critical” backorder list. I told them I was fine waiting my turn. Seems to be the name of the game for anything FL5 CTR related.

I suspect the demand for the ITS ADS is 100% CTR owners right now. Haha.

Ordered the ITS ads unit from a local acura dealer 10/28- picked it up 2 days ago and installed. Did everything as expected. Highly recommended!

Hmm…maybe I’ll see down the line. I have put 400 miles on it and honestly the ride to me isn’t that bad at all. May also be because I have 265/40/18 tires lol.

This makes a huge diff, I’m on 265 35 18 and it’s like night and day. The stock wheel and tire specs makes the ride harsh. I’m not sure if this is the intention Honda had. It’s almost similar to how all street cars come dialed in with more understeer for safety and legal reasons.

Reporting in for anyone who needs another data point - recieved and installed type S ADS unit today, all stock otherwise, and after a 15 minute drive I'm pretty smitten with it to be honest. Never would have characterized the car as comfortable before and now I would say comfort mode is just that. It does seem to lose a slight edginess through all modes but if you're daily driving it? No brainer in my opinion. If I was headed to a track I'd probably spend the 10-15 mins to swap it back though..
