Anyone running heavier oil ie 5w30?

5W-30 for AZ summers. Can't tell when that is anymore because the temps keep jumping back and forth every week. Engine seems to run quiter though.

Running 5w30. If it is recommended for EU Type R's and the CAFE standards are what prompted the 0w20 US recommendation, well that's enough reason for me to run 5w30.

I am currently running 5W-30, but that’s because my aftermarket turbo calls for it. Plus, in my earlier Blackstone Laboratories tests, they said it wouldn’t hurt to try 5W-30.
