There are still some new scat pack dodge challengers with manual out there. Similar price to RS3. If my budget afforded I'd probably get that instead of CTR or RS3 I guess.

Those are cool too. I’d get a GT350 for the engine sound but worried about the engine grenading.

As the stock bubble deflates and supply improves they should become available. It’s still very new. If the smaller Blackwing had a V8 it would be perfect.

The current delivery timelines for those that ordered 6 months ago is like April may of next year.

At that point, I already decided I'd rather have the M2.

Just to clarify I am talking about the latest RS3, and yes I am talking about the cars in their stock form. I am not a modifier/tweaker. Straight out of the box, the A45s is a better drivers car than the RS3. I made my comments on that basis. But of course, everyone is different and your results may differ!

The first one is going to be more special and fun, but as someone in my mid-30s, I'm starting to appreciate the cush experience.

Yep agreed with you when I was in my mid-30s - bought a new ‘14 S4 and had it for a couple years. Now that I’m 44, the pendulum has sung back the other way.

S4 is fast and very comfortable, but not really much fun. And that was when it was a 6-speed. And that comfort still came with a little sacrifice in space. I had to put the drivers seat too far forward with a rear facing car seat in the back.

If you need to haul passengers in the back, get something a little larger than the S4. If not, I’d much rather have the RS3.

I’m sure the US will lose the RS3 soon enough too, and I’d rather have the hatch of course.

CLA 45 2014-19, yes an abomination, but the new one 20 onwards I have to strongly disagree looks like a mini GT on the road. A good looking car
