These are available at a discount on TireRack right now in 265/35/18

If you've tracked on these tires before: what did you think of them?

I read they are slower than the RE71RS but were designed to be more consistent over many laps.

Having tried Nangkang CRS v2 and Kumho V730 tires recently - I much preferred the V730's over the CRS for it's consistency, predictability and durability.

I won't have a chance to try the Potenza Race tires on track until end of August. The deal was too good to pass up!

This is a great deal. I just got them delivered and excited to see what these can do! Thanks for sharing Jeff! I'll see you at the track =)

I too just had a set delivered, and put in an order for another set at these dirt cheap prices. I currently run Continental ECF 200tw (meh) and was going to switch to the Hoosier TrackAttack, but that'll have to wait.

These Potenza Race's aren't going to be as quick as some of the super 200's, but I'm curious how it compares to the other endurance 200's on track. Worth a look for those after a dual use tire.

I am mounting them this week, no track day planned but I will be going to lime rock autocross, not traditional autocross, its a mini track so its always the same and tons of seat time to its a good place to test stuff like this. Hopefully will be there this saturday on the new tires and can compare my time to the RS4s that are coming out. I am hopping for at least a sec faster (course is around 44-50 sec).

From what I hear, they are slower than re71rs but more consistent however they are not very durable, even less than the re71s which are already not the best at that

The race is not bad but won’t last. They looked pretty beat after 2 days at WGI and 1 at NJMP. I just tried Nankang CR-S for the first time over the weekend at VIR. They are my favorite tire. Having only tried Dunlop Direzza and Bridgestone RE71.
