You should read into him a bit more! Easy guy to like and root for - he has granted more wishes (650+) to children in the Make-a-Wish Foundation than anyone ever.
The problem most people have with him is his Mandarin apology to the Chinese Communist Party about calling Taiwan a country. Not his acting roles or wrestling charecters. But, uninformed people on the internetYeah. It’s easy for people to jump to negative conclusions about a celebrity based on his wrestling character and/or his movie characters while knowing little to nothing about his personal character. Gotta love the internet.

There's a trend these days of movies that have Chinese backing and there's usually a token Chinese character or it even takes place partly in China. I assume it's to make the movie sell better in China. At least one of his movies was an example.
