What a machine! Can’t beat that sound in my opinion. Nice driving, BTW.

Taking a Quick Break
After a couple of back to back track days with minimal changes to the car, I've had some time to reflect on what I want to do next. As previously mentioned I still have on order the J's Racing lowering springs and I will be going less aggressive with the front camber, I really think that will help with utilizing the entire width of the tire more efficiently.

In addition, if you have been paying attention to my mod list, I finally gave in and ordered the Seeker Carbon Front Lip and Rear Wing, I'm pretty sure I'll be the first to rock the kit in the USA. I really hope the tariff fees wont kill me though lol! Given the delay of parts I'm shooting for an April track day as my next event possibly May which will run up against the VIR Type R Track day, just need to register for it.

Enjoy the following pics and my latest POV video!

Wow, -4 camber up front seems quite extreme! What front camber do you plan on going with? I'll be installing spoon springs soon, along with Hardrace from ball joints, I'm trying to get an idea of where to start, lol.

Right now, I'm maxed out on the factory top hat slots and I have the lower ball joint set to the maximum setting as well. So I'm shooting to the go to middle setting of the camber joint and see where I land. Hopefully it will get me closer to -3.5.

I've run -2.6 in the front and -3 in the rear on my lower horsepower 24 sport hatch civic. I also had it with less and more negative camber at some point. The FL5 is a different with it's suspension, but compared with that more aggressive camber on my previous civic, it's not as confident in hard cornering (though it definitely can take them harder and faster)

Mugen Front Under Lip Spoiler
Pretty quick install, and definitely completes the look of the front-end.

Enjoy!!

More pics to come from the track...
Late in the mugen front lip game, this looks really nice. How many inches left on ground clearance after installation? Thank you

Thank you! Unfortunately I sold the front lip as it was basically broken in two pieces and would have needed significant fiberglass repair. I know it did make ingress and egress of steep parking lots a bit of chore even at stock height.

I would say it takes away easily two inches of front ground clearance.

JAS Motorsport Carbon Aero
Excited to finally start adding some carbon touches to the exterior of the car! A fellow FL5 owner recently posted a sneak peek of the JAS Motorsport wing stand and aero hood vent, and I immediately reached out. I’m pretty sure those parts will pair perfectly with the Seeker carbon pieces I’ve got on order (scheduled to arrive fashionably late… at the end of 2026).

I actually filmed the whole install, and luckily it was pretty straightforward—no blood, sweat, or unscheduled trips to the hardware store. I’ll post the video once I finish editing it.

In the meantime, enjoy these pics:

Look nice! The hood vent has a similar design to the Spoon hope you didn’t pay as much as that one for it.
Thankfully it’s a third of the price of the Spoon vent. Basically the main reason why I went with JAS.

DIY
As promised the full install video of the JAS Motorsport parts.

If anyone is interested in ordering the parts you’ll need to contact them directly through email.

[email protected]

The parts are not publicly sold because there actually commissioned for a German Spec FL5 Evo edition.
