Does any one have the Hardrace FL5 rear motor mount(torque rod)? Wanted to know people's opinions or reviews. Thanks

The Hardrace mount is slightly softer but that's because it was designed to be a part of a system that includes the 2 side engine mounts as well. The difference between the 2 is nominal.I have the Prl now. It works but you feel the increased NVH on cold starts and especially when the A/C is on. Was trying to see if the alternatives like the Hard race or Wunderladen Racing were a little better.
The PRL mount is nice and probably the most popular. Install some rigid collars and you will notice less NVH especially with the A/C on.I have the Prl now. Thanks for the info appreciate it. I ordered the collars a few days ago.We installed a Wunderladen Racing RMM and Spoon Rigid Collars as well as Mugen lateral tie bars on a customer car and all NVH basically has been eliminated with this combination.

It will reduce your wheel hop for sure, but there are other options out there that might be better like the Cobb rear motor mount.Im wondering if there are any updates on this? Im considering to buy the hard race torque rod by itself. Would this stop the wheel hop and eliminate that 1st to 2nd gear crunch on high rpm shifts
Do you have a link to the Mugen part?We installed a Wunderladen Racing RMM and Spoon Rigid Collars as well as Mugen lateral tie bars on a customer car and all NVH basically has been eliminated with this combination.

He might be referring to the Mugen dampers that are made by Yamaha: https://www.kingmotorsports.com/p-6036-mugen-fl1-fl5-civic-type-r-performance-damper.aspxDo you have a link to the Mugen part?
