Instead of mailing your ecu to be jailbroken, they’ll do it there without the hassle.

pretty sure you can just get it jailbroken. I think it's like $275

I believe @JDM_DOHC_SiR got his Jailbroken at one of the CA events. He can probably provide perspective on what to expect. Not sure if he actually flashed the car though.
