Every other oil change. Interesting. And that's totally ok for the car?
I would like to just drain and add oil lol.
I used to have tools in Cali but when I moved to TX didnt bring much.
Have to purchase new tools and jack stands etc..
I miss the car scene in LA.
Details regarding the OEM maintenance minder: The Honda Civic Type R (FL5) manufacturer-recommended oil change interval is the earlier of 12,500 miles or 12 months. Maintenance reminder aside, Honda’s factory recommendation allows for intervals up to 7,500 miles or one year (whichever comes first) under normal driving conditions.

That said, I am personally cool with changing the oil twice every 7k miles and filter once under normal driving conditions.

First, I really dislike this website on Safari on my iPhone. OMG what a pain! Second, I got these ones because they are easy to raise the car at the center jack point, all because the ones I have from Walmart, for some reason, even using the anti-slip tape on the bottom, slip anyway on my garage and also on the driveway. These ones, even when I install my lip, will also be helpful, and I don’t need to fight the clutch to raise the car. I wish I could get some Quick Jack, but I can’t spend 2500 right now for one with all the accessories I need.

I am in the same camp regarding QuickJack. Last month, the QuickJack 6000TLX Bundle (SKU 5175368) was on sale for $1,763.75 shipped. Sale ended on a Friday last month and I missed it by one day. Current price is ($2,075.00 shipped) where I am patiently waiting for the next holiday special price.

Texas! Represent lol.
Those are nice meaty tires, specs?
Are those ramps enough space to go under and comfortably change the oil.

No, but it helps to get the center point on front of the car to raise it and put the jack stands easier without burning the clutch every time you try to use the other ones šŸ˜‚ at least that’s what I experienced.

Texas heat sucks man I sweat a lot and just putting tire shine was hell. Excited for some cold weather soon.

Me the OCD guy again. What he means is the bottom of the H should be pointing toward the valve stem on the wheel.

And if you get locking lug nuts, the lug nut above the valve stem is the one that gets the lock. It’s an old car-guy thing.

I meant that the H should be pointing toward the valve stem lol. We NEED floating center caps, that for sure!
