Do you know what the OEM offset is?

Oh cool, same as FK8.

Well, if there are aftermarket wheels available in ET60, I'd be interested.
Since 265/30 fit on the stock 19s, 265/35-18 should fit with ET60 too. So there's no reason to change the offset for fitment, only for looks. The track is wide enough as it is, so I'd like some stock offset 18x9.5.

Black (CBP) FK8 Civic Type R,
@System Motorsports Thank you for all of this great info! Do you expect any rubbing with 18x9.5 +45 5x120 wheels, 265/35/18 tires?
We do not expect there to be any at all! Final result will depend on tire compound and section width (not all tires are created equal), but this should be the go-to sizing! With +38, there may be some rubbing.

Thank you very much! Hoping to pick up my FL5 on release day -- will definitely stop by your shop in Hayward!

@System Motorsports Looks like Spoon is running 265/35/18 as well :)

Correct! The TE37SL in 18x9.5 +45 5x120 will be the perfect fit! These boast a large concave face profile (whereas other TE37 variants do not). We are very excited and can't wait to get these on the car!

Unfortunately no chance finding an aftermarket with that high of an offset because it limits their wheels to be compatible to a lot of cars than just 1 model. Honda appears to be the only one that utilize this high of an offset with no other cars models from other manufacturers to match. +60 offset are often found on trucks, so if you do find aftermarket wheels of that offset, it's often advertised to be for trucks.

will the FL5 OEM wheels be directly compatible if mounted on an FK8?

No confirmed fit yet. Although the bolt pattern should be the same.
