Thanks! Yes it is. I may do H&R springs for a tiny drop later on, but probably not because I already scrape on some odd entries/exits that I frequent.
I'm actually really happy with the stock height on these cars. I was thinking H&R springs also but honestly I'll probably just leave it stock also. Good looking wheels also

I have a question for the experts.

I recently saw an FL5 for sale and his wheel n tire set up is as follows.

18x9.5 +22 TE37s running 275/35/18 Falken Azenis
Lowered on Eibach Sportlines.

Can this set up be replicated on another wheel, same specs, with a less aggressive lowering spring?
Maybe instead of a 275, rather a 265/35/18?
I’m assuming alignment adjustable parts are needed to dial in the alignment.

As much as I like TE37s, I much refer the 21A, but they’re not offered in FL5 size.

Yes it can be replicated with relative ease, adjustable camber arms will be necessary to dial in alignment so that rubbing is minimized. If you want to go that aggressive and avoid TEs, then look into BMW fitment for most wheels specifically E46 M3.

I did a crazy thing and ordered the forged BBS Mugen wheels from black hawk Japan the other month, they finally got here. I can't wait to see these on the car with those Michelin pilot sports. I called my go to tire shop and I know the manager from autocross so I trust them to help me out with this, they said no problem so I'll schedule a visit later this week. Once everything is installed I'll take a picture and post an update. Thank you everyone here for guidance, now excuse me while I contemplate my financial choices

So unfortunately I did not do enough homework and the Mugen lug nuts & wheel locks from black hawk Japan (link here - mugen lug nuts) do not fit (at least the ones I ordered). I knew the Mugen/BBS wheels required a different kind of lug nut and when I saw the listing on the black hawk Japan website I thought they'd be compatible. They're the right shape but the wrong size (they appear to be just slightly too small in diameter so perhaps it's for the JDM market).

Luckily I know the manager at the tire place where I got them installed from auto cross (shout out to Rich at my local tire corral, he really helped me out). They were able to quickly find a set of black spline lug nuts locally that were compatible. Not the biggest deal but I was somewhat panicking when the technician installing the wheels said the lug nuts I had did not fit. I suppose I'll try to sell the Mugen ones I have on ebay or something because I can't use them. Ah well

I do have a general question about these wheels: on the documentation included with the wheel (I machine translated it because it's entirely in Japanese) it states that the valve stem is a consumable part and they recommend periodically replacing that part.

What is the part number for this particular Mugen wheel valve stem? I'd like to have a spare set on hand if they're supposed to be replaceable.

These wheels will be my summer set & I do not drive much so I won't put on many miles in the immediate future so I'm not too worried about wearing them out in the short term. Nevertheless, I'd like to know what part that is and how I can get replacements for future reference.

Now I just need to go to an autocross or track day and try out these wheels to see what they can do :)

What type of lug nuts these wheels take?

There's a pack-in instruction & warnings slip with the wheel that's entirely in Japanese which states some guidance & installation instructions. I used machine translation to read through it when I got the wheels and I thought I had the proper bolts.
The shape of the wheel requires a different set of nuts other than the stock ones. The stock Honda lug nuts are rounded whereas this BBS wheel requires a flat acorn taper in order for the lugs to properly attach the wheels to the car.

So when I ordered the Mugen nuts I thought they were the correct shape (which they are) but they aren't the right size, they're 12mm which is slightly too small for the usa spec in whatever imperial unit it is in, i don't know what size it is offhand
