I actually meant clutch damper. I still have the delay valve.

Any noticeable improvement? Do you plan on doing the CDV delete too?

I get gear lockout when I shift at redline and saw the damper delete can resolve this.

I was concerned that the damper would eventually fail due to the heavier comp clutch. So that's why I removed it. I would say I'm indifferent about it. I can feel a lot through the clutch pedal, and I don't know if I necessarily like that.

FWIW, I have never experienced lockout

Replace your PCV valve. It's a $30 wear item located on the backside of your valve cover and held on by one 10mm bolt. You wouldn't believe the crazy oil leaks and internal carnage a faulty PCV valve can cause.

Replaced my PCV at about 50k per his recommendation.

Not tuning, per se, but I fiiiiiinally deleted the clutch delay valve. Other than maybe grabbing an Acuity shifter at some point, I think this car is basically done.

The CDV delete feels great. It actually feels like a clutch pedal should, instead of you giving the car a suggestion to release the clutch. Very happy I finally did this. Bleeding a slave cylinder is way easier than bleeding the master cylinder, too!

I suppose I'll give a tuning update, why not......

Vehicle: 2023 Civic Si

Tuned miles driven: ~17k miles (67k total!)

Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V2

Tunes used: Phearable 1.5r

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: TSP ARP headstuds, RV6 clutch kit, PRL HVI, Remark Exhaust, (NEWLY ADDED) clutch delay valve delete

Problems/issues: None whatsoever.

Driving style: Daily driving, WOT pulls multiple times a day, every day. Autocross a few times a year, hopefully actually getting on track sometime this year, but who knows

Tuning experience notes: I still haven't figured out why my K.Con will just arbitrarily rise while riding on the highway on cruise control. Usually after work I get on the highway, pop CC on at 70-72 and just listen to tunes, then I'll look down and see K.Con going hogwild at .63-.65 or so. Taking it off CC and getting on throttle a bit makes it go right back down to .49, so I don't think anything is wrong, it's just weird.

Might be funny gas, could be spark plugs, potentially just need to revise the tune. My guess for persistent k.con hiccups leans towards where you get gas, or your spark plug gaps.

What have you gapped your spark plugs down to? Should be ~.026" for Phearable 1.5R.

I think I have them at 0.28 or so. If it keeps doing it I'll gap 'em down a bit more. I find it odd that it always seems to rise under steady-state cruising though, and not** while I'm flogging it.
