Your best bet might be to try and find a used one to take on a test drive. I did this with Carmax which was about an hour away.
Carmax is a good idea. The one I did try test driving was a used one, but at a Honda dealer.

See if you can find a used FK8 to test drive.
This worked for me and I'd recommend it. I inadvertently started that way. When I was told the pricing on the used FK8 I tested I decided if I was going to be raked over the coals, it may as well be for a new car and the latest generation.

Worst case if you don't like the car you have 72 hours to unwind the deal. You don't really take a hit on your credit. That's as long as you buy something within 30 days of the loan inquiries lmfao 🤣

Do you have kids? Family? Cause if you do, the GR is gonna be terrible. There is no room in the back. That’s primarily why I gave up my allocation for a GR and got a type R.

Nope it's just me and my wife. I occasionally take passengers but not enough to influence my decision.
