I've been considering dropping back to a less aggressive camber. I do really like the way the car drives but if I'm chewing up tires every 5k miles that is too extreme for my tastes.

The thing is, these ball joints don't really offer a huge amount of precision in adjustability. You get 1 degree increments; for the EVS at least, I can validate that the "least aggressive" setting leaves you at OEM, then you get -1 and -2. That's it... so if I'm at -1.5 at the OEM setting (after Eibach Pro-kit springs), then I have the option of -2.5, or -3.5. The other option is to pull the strut tower pins, which is a ghetto version of adjustable camber plates... which is what I actually want and will eventually move to. I feel like an almost full degree of camber would hurt the way the car rotates during autocross, which is my primary use case. I want to try -3 but can't get there with my current amount of adjustability.

Especially if I can get any validation from folks on here that have tried the roll-center adjusters on this platform. I have yet to find ANYONE with them installed so zero testimonials to go off of. I don't want to re-architect my suspension mods on a hunch.
I'd definitely recommend roll center adjusters on a lowered car, but I'm still at stock ride height, and have no plans to change that.

Understood- but as far as I'm aware you get either the choice of adjustable lower ball joints OR roll-center adjusters. Unless I'm misinterpreting what the roll-center adjusters are- effectively elongated lower ball joints. I think I've seen on other platforms they incorporate elongated outer tie-rod ends as well but I haven't seen that for this platform.

Would be nice if they offered an option of adjustable elongated lower ball joints amirite?

I agree. Still a lot of parts to be desired for our platform! I'm currently looking for a vent to atmosphere catch can, and I'm having zero luck. I'd make one myself, but I'm admittedly unfamiliar with how the CCV and PCV function on this car.

Yea I have a roll center correction kit and bump steer correction on the sti. I have thought about going back to stock springs actually but I want to test the waters and see how much understeer I get, but from what Ive seen the fl5 has really good lift off oversteer. I am curious about doing -2.8 instead of 3.0 camber though 🤔

I think prl posted about something like this the other day, though I'm not clear on if it's vent to atmosphere or just a normal catch can

IIRC, youre running a 4piston engine too. Have you had similar issues with increased blow by? Do you vent to atmosphere?
I vent the "to turbo inlet" to atmosphere...long black silicone hose from valve cover going behind airbox in pic. I run the Radium PCV catch can.

I really never have had much blowby at all. But plenty of other issues :p

Ball joint pic for relevance. Installed Feb 11th and Failed June 15th after 2 TA races and 1 track weekend. But zero issues in the last 2 years!

Holy fire! glad you're safe! This is my biggest fear on all my project cars.
